Pro Wrestling.Net says:
Dot Net can confirm reports that Angelina Love has been released by TNA. The rumor floating around last night was that the Canadian female star has been working on a dated work visa that was left over from her time as a WWE developmental wrestler. A source noted that Love's contract was coming up soon and the legal department discovered the issue with her work visa.
PW Torch's version:
TNA has released former TNA Knockout champion Angelina Love due to issues with her work visa. Angelina is from Canada and she has reportedly been working with an expired visa.
TNA was reportedly negotiating a new contract for Angelina (real name Lauren Ann Williams) when the office discovered the problem with her visa. She was a two-time Knockouts champion and recently dropped the title at the Bound for Glory PPV last month.
Angelina signed a WWE developmental contract in 2004, then she was released from WWE in May 2007 after the Deep South Wrestling promotion shut down and she was sent to Louisville to train at Ohio Valley Wrestling.
So in any event, this is a huge screw up on TNA's part for not making sure the paperwork was settled in the first place. I have very little knowledge of immigration law, so I have no idea what repercussions Angelina would face.

This is definitely not the kind of news I wanted to read today. That really sucks, Angelina Love was one the best heels in the company.
I hope she can get this visa situation settled and return to TNA.
Velvet Sky is really going to be in a tough spot now without Angelina there.

Just checked TNAWrestling.com and they have removed all of Angelina's pictures and her profile from their roster.
As Ron Simmons would say Damn!

Well, that sucks. BP were kicking ass.
Knockouts will survive though. They have a lot more depth now than they had when Gail Kim left. It can only mean more screen time for Sarita. Atleast it better.
I think we'll see Angelina Love back eventually. Hope she does not go to WWE after it's all settled. She can't be Angelina Love there and get the oppurtunity to you know...be interesting.

I guess Sarita and Taylor Wilde will definitely become the first Knockout tag team champions now.

Hopefully it's just temporary and they get this straightened-out. TNA needs it's best heel and Angelina would get lost in the shuffle in WWE.

I find myself more upset about this release than almost any other possible TNA release
on the bright side.. Velvet Sky can step up and get the spotlight now maybe?

Well thats certainly unfortunate. Angelina is awesome. This would have been crippling a year ago, but theyve beefed up the roster since then. Still,

Wow, what's the point of the Knockout Tag belts when the one tag team they really had is now gone?

Storyline wise, this is a great way to bring Kip James back. He gets his revenge by exposing the fact she's been working on an expired visa and he gets her sacked and the Cute Kip/Beautiful People storyline comes full circle.

This might have been asked already but, how long does it take for one to get a working visa?
I remember Chris Hero being able to get one in a couple of hours in Australia, I think it was, on some show I saw on Youtube.

why do i always get here late for the big ZOMG news stories? Honestly tho I'm sure Angelina will be welcomed back into the company once she gets her work visa's up to date. She certainly is not the first wrestler to have work visa issues.
Also i totally forgot she was Canadian.
