I have a match of his on tape where he faced Sgt. Slaughter in a "Desert Storm" match. Hogan hit the Sgt. with his kevlar helmet, his title belt a few times, whipped him with a riding crop, choked him out with his torn shirt, used a chair.
Then Sarge gave it right back to him, loaded canteens, the belt again.
That was a pretty wild match as far as Hogan was concerned.

Didn't Hogan at one point get his leg broken by his mentor in a match when he was still training in Japan? he got has ankle broken by his trainer (Hiro Matsuda) on his first day and was told if he still wanted to be a wrestler to come back when it healed

Get the original tape of WM7... After Hogan won, I swear I remember seeing, as a kid, Slaughter hid in Hogan's locker room during the post show interview w/ Mene Gene; they opened Hogan's door and Slaughter launched a fireball into Hogan's face.

I'd say SNME 15 vs. Harley Race. The story for that day is that Hogan is MEGA PISSED at losing his title (this after the evil twin ref/ Andre/ DiBiase screw job at the Main Event), so he's gone a bit psycho and is not gonna play by the rules. HARDCORE man. Race got the injury that would retire him in that match. That match was awesome, Hogan choking, using STIFF strikes, throwing chairs around, and he even used a table on Harley. His stuff as FUNB Terry Bollea was awesome, WCW became a No DQ thing, so he would often powerbomb people through tables to end matches. I also really loved it whenever he'd whip people with his belt Still really want to see that "Desert Storm" match with Slaughter. I had it on one of the hulkamania tapes I had. Hope they put it on a Sarge or hulkster DVD

Hope they put it on a Sarge or hulkster DVD he actually did a complete powerbomb? Set them up between the legs, lift them up and throw them down? Not just say pull them off the apron while he was on the floor powerbomb style?

Hogan vs Stan Hansen on a NJPW/WWF supershow....very stiff match but any match with Stan was. I believe he took a bump through a table and into the crowd....search it out just for the actual workrate by Hogan alone

I'd say Hogan's most hardcore moment was when Hiro Matsuda broke his leg first day in training, and he came back to train with Matsuda. ... followed by coming back at WM IX (even though it was a lousy PPV) after nearly having his career end due to a Ski-doo. Wasn't that Beefcake?

Hogan/McMahon from Wrestlemania 19 was pretty good. Vince legdropped him through the announce table.

Hulk Hogan's most hardcore moment was bodyslamming Earthquake through a table at SummerSlam 1990 in Philadelphia. Little known fact, he created ECW when he did that.

I don't know what it was, but I'd say it would have been the night Brooke was made.

I'd say Hogan's most hardcore moment was when Hiro Matsuda broke his leg first day in training, and he came back to train with Matsuda. This. Also, I saw a match he had with Inoki once where Inoki got onto a cable and swung into him. It was pretty crazy.

I never heard a concrete reason why he had that black eye. (Jim Ross said it was because Money Inc. attacked him while he was lifting weights.)

I think he was referring to the black eye Hogan had. I never heard a concrete reason why he had that black eye. (Jim Ross said it was because Money Inc. attacked him while he was lifting weights.) Depending on who you talk to, Hogan either had an accident the day before while out boating with Beefcake or before the show Randy Savage went nuts, blamed Hogan for his divorce from Elizabeth, and took a swing at him.
