Rob Conway. Don't laugh! Here's a guy who was given a good gimmick, had good skills on the mike and was given a really solid push. Yes, the gimmick sort of ripped off Ortons, but it was interesting because he was beating guys like Greg Valentine and Koko B Ware, basically proving that he should be the next big star and that all these guys meant nothing. Hell, he was getting heat for it! Yes, Conway..of La Resistance, getting boo'd without dissing America! Who'da funk it? Then what happened? He got squashed. By Flair. For no reason. And now we see Rob Conway. Heat Jobber. Getting almost zip reaction whatsoever. And it's sad Rob Conway was a Buff Bagwell knockoff. That alone was the reason why he couldn't get over. He could wrestle better than Bagwell and was already over. If he took more steroids, than obviously your theory would be true

Aside from the obvious names that came in around the time of InVasion (like Goldberg, DDP, Raven, RVD, Jerry Lynn, Tajiri, Scott Steiner, etc), I think VADER deserves mention.

Val Venis. Obviously a man with genuine talent and charisma. Perhaps his character was not one of main-eventers, but he should've stayed on the genuine mid-card/IC contender scene.
And Rene Dupree. You wanna talk blue chipper? The guy was the youngest champion in HISTORY (he was 19 or 20 when he won the tag belts for the first time). He had awesome chemistry with COnway and Sylvan as a heel team, and were genuinely good too. Then they split up the team, Dupree got injured, and that was that. ECW jobber, he thus became. Thrown in the garbage at 23.

Raven. Easily. It's absurd how badly they wasted him.
Stevie Richards too. Now, I don't think he should be world champ but he could have been a strong mid-carder, at least not some flippin jobber.

Today? James Gibson. One of the absolute best in the world, and he's never used.
In year's past, good toss-up between Raven, Vader, and DDP. Man, DDP could've been a HUGE part of the WCW invasion.

Today: Jamie Noble, Jimmy Yang (I don't like his gimmick), Val Venis, Rob Conway, Super Crazy, Sylvester Terkay, Elijah Burke. Classic cases: Raven, Sean O'Haire, Al Snow, Public Enemy, Ron Killings, Maxx Payne.

Instead he got beat bu Sara. By the way, Sara beat DDP, who beat The Big Show, who beat Kurt Angle, who beat Somoa Joe. Does that mean Sara Undertaker>Somoa Joe ?

Should Sara be #1 contender to Homicide now?

PS: The Teddy Long getting run down by a car from SD vs. Raw 2006 is classic. Espescially with the new factor that Teddy Long would have that car go one on one with.......
