Much like some other people in this thread, I was sad reading this. To see my immortal childhood role model going through this in my early twenties makes me realize that no one's immune to life. But hell, I enjoyed Hogan during 2002-2003 as I felt it was the Hulkamania Farewell Tour. Honestly, I think he should've finished up after the match with Vince.

If Linda keeps taking his money, he may have to wrestle again. I mean the dude should be sitting back in retirement with all the money he's earned through his decades of hard work. Thanks to Linda, he can't do that. Not just thanks to Linda. He's done a lot of poor-choice spending. Ya, but that poor spending wasn't a big deal until Linda decided to try and get half of his net worth, plus an insane alimony to boot

There comes a time when we all know we can't do the same thing we did when we were in our 20',s 30's, 40's, and when that day comes, it comes with no going back. In the case of the Hulkster, as much as I enjoyed his better days, it has been coming for a long time. It will be sad to see him unable to perform, but at least know that he has a very well documented track record and history that chronicles everything he has done.

Hard to feel sorry for someone when they made their own bed.

The Hulkster will always be apart of wrestling and sports in general. Even saturday night I couldn't get over the fact the Dan Henderson didn't come ou to "Real American." I want to see him back on the WWE screen but not wrestling. Though I would love it, his body can't take it. Rather have him be living and walking then seeing him go through what people go through after their body erodes.

I honestly don't think we'll see Hogan back in the ring as an active wrestler. He'll probably do something with WWE at some point, but not as an active wrestler, I think. Maybe as RAW or Smackdown GM, special referee for WrestleMania, manager or even road agent.
I just think given Hogan's surgeries over the last few years, it seems rather impossible. And honestly, the dude deserves to retire and take it easy. He has nothing left to prove.

I haven't watched 'current' wrestling since 1999... I would seriously consider watching if Hogan tried his hand at being a heel commentator.

Hulk Hogan for RAW GM? Anyone??? I'd love to see him guest host raw (which is the equivalent of GM now.)

There needs to be some form of closure. Somehow, beating Randy Orton at Summerslam 2006 doesn't feel like it.

“Now I have a chair in my bathroom so I can brush my teeth. When I shave, I shave half my face, lay on the floor for 10 minutes and then shave the other half of my face.” .......WHAT? This thread sadden and scares me.

If that's the case then Hulk DESERVES a send off like the one Flair got.

i dont think she deserves that much cuz he cheats,he borke his body to give his fmaily the lifestyle they are used to. plus i remember several times on hogan know best that she rarely gave it up, years of hardly getting any, especially when your famous will cause any man to snap and look for it,plus they were kinda separated.
that being said a hulk for raw gm would rock! i always thought that should be his roll after wrestling, but since raw has a new host thing,ya go for it.
as far as wrestling,he deserves a send off,or put him in tags

I can not believe the most over wrestler ever is in a situation were he would have to continue to compete with a beaten up body.
If the biggest box office draw in wrestling for the last 20 plus years has no cash what chance do the rest of the guys have?
Hogan, Piper, Flair, Nash, Hall, Sting ect. sat on million doller garanteed contracts in WCW and all are still working to some degree for different reasons, granted, but all should be able to live in comfort of their past earnings.
What do these guys do with their finances?
Its why Austin and Rock ran as soon as Hollywood called. A door opened incidentally by Hogan himself.
And no I dont want a man who needs to lie down mid shave to come back and insist on being put over HBK or Orton as happened on his last returns.
His ego would never allow him to go out with the dignity Flair did. Imagine Hogan turning down the main event as Flair did at WM24? No neither do I.

as everyones said its sad to see a childhood hero in this condition, but whats really scary is that he actually seems to be in amazing shape compared to all his peers of his generation and even the generation after his, and he also went out of his way to usually not do too much in the ring, so it makes me kinda worried about his above mentioned peers if even he isnt immune to this
