Sometimes wrestlers take long periods of time off for injury and it can affect the quality of the product, or your enjoyment of the product. Which wrestler's hiatus affected your overall enjoyment of the product the most?
I have four, they are:
The Undertaker: September 21, 1999 - May 21, 2000
Stone Cold: November 14, 1999 - September 24, 2000
Triple H: May 21, 2001 - January 7, 2002
The Rock: March 14, 2004 - Now

Sting: October 98 - April 99.
Back in the day I was a huge Sting mark. When he came back for Spring Stampede I went nuts.

Out of those 4, Undertaker. He just vanished basically. Austin needed the break, Triple H was also in need of TV time off, Rock has moved on. Undertaker was just so unexpected when he left AND when he came back.
Hell I remember when Big show being gone was such a huge deal back in 2000-2001, and his surprise return at 2001 Rumble was just, Random.
But who did I miss most EVER?
BRET FREAKIN HART!!!!! My eyes were glued to the screen when I saw him walk onto the screen at the HOF Induction Ceremony.

When I was younger I missed Ultimate Warrior. Now, I missed the Rock for the longest time, but now have long given up hope that he'll ever make any real returns.

Very true, I think Undertaker's break and Bret Hart's retirement were both and in Bret's case still is the most painful. I remember when Taker was gone, EVERY pay per view me and my friends would speculate that the Undertaker would come back. Even now with Bret Hart gone out of the wrestling world anytime his name is mentioned in an angle I start hopelessly anticipating a potential appearance by the hitman....*sigh* at least I saw him in Aladdin.

How was he? The show itself was actually far more entertaining than I expected, but Bret Hart was basically what you'd expect, his character was basically Bret Hart, as a genie(they called him Genie "the Lampman") and his outfit looked like a baggy genied up version of his wrestling tights(they were selling some Hitman merchandise too, which is awesome). He basically came out and spit out one liners, then when the singing started he'd fold his arms, and just look tough, and when the singings over he'd come back again, which was perfectly fine because he's Bret fn Hart.
