Everyone know why we male fans watch it - because we're a bunch of angry, violent misfits who aren't smart enough to do anything more constructive with our time (this is the stereotype, not my real opinion). So, why do women watch it? I mean, how often do you see a beautiful woman with soft hair, a pretty face and legs to die for holding up a "Cena rules" sign? You often see cute girls hold up Cena rules or DX signs, and there were a plethora of chicks flashing DX back in the days. Girls watch it for the same reason guys do. because the wrestlers are hot. I really hope there's some sarcasm I'm not getting in there.

My cousin (a girl) watches from time to time yet she thinks most of the men's bodies are "nasty." Yes she is straight. I think it reminds her of being a kid again or something.

I'll admit that there are some girls that I know who like the eye candy of the guys and nothing more. However, these girls do not actually watch or follow wrestling. For example when I used to put wrestling on in front of one of my female friends, she used to always comment on the Rock's butt and her approval of it. She really didn't pay attention to anything else. But having said this, she would never claim to be a wrestling fan. Just a fan of the Rock's butt. Women who actually follow the show do so for the same reasons that guys do.

I remember an ex-girlfriend had a thing for Bill Goldberg. Needless to say, that relationship didn't last.

I was practically born watching wrestling. And watching it with my dad was always fun times. Also, the fans who get so into it and complain are more entertaining than watching the actual tv shows and ppvs.
And for the record, I don't find Cena or Ortard to be attractive in the least. Come to think of it, no one in the company turns me on in the least. I must be asexual. Ah well, time to wash the dishes.

Hate to sound elitist, but I don't think just "any" girl will watch wrestling. The giggling gaggle of Paris Hilton-wannabes will never watch wrestling simply because its not rammed down their throats 24/7. How many girls watch X Factor or Big Brother or some insipid, ultra-popular mainstream show? I think girls that tend to think "outside of the box" as it were can appreciate wrestling for what it is. I can't believe you said 'Paris Hilton' and 'rammed down their throats' in the same sentence and no one laughed about it

A couple of my ex-girlfriends liked it well enough to watch it with me, and I guess paid enough attention that we could talk about it afterwards. They liked high-spot guys like Rey & RVD, funny stuff like Hurricane & goofy-heel Angle, and then they'd each pick out a couple of guys they thought were handsome. Then point that out to me when I got a little too excited about, say, Trish.
One of the girls liked Jericho & The Rock, one liked Kurt Angle, and one dug Val Venis.

I have a female friend that is obessed to understand why wrestling is so good to me, and wants me to force her to watch some good matches and explain to her.
I found that so weird that I always change the subject when se mentions it but...Does any one of you guys(and gals) have good pointers of what a non wrestling fan female would fin interesting?
And I want matches, I already got a full DVD of only Hard Gay skits.

I started watching when I was 9 or 10 and wasn't remotely attracted to any of the wrestlers. I just found it all fascinating. The drama, the action, the talent, the passion. 10 years later, I do find some of the wrestlers attractive but that's not why I watch. I don't have 39 gigs of matches on my computer solely because I find every single person in every match to be hot... I watch it because I can appreciate it. And I have gained an certain amount of understanding of what goes into it all and I have respect for everyone involved. Not to mention, I can appreciate a certain degree of violence ;D As a side note, Cena looks like a monkey and Orton looks like a creepy stalker...And the women who watch only because they find Cena hot and wish they could boink him annoy me greatly.

Why do you think Razor Ramon Hard Gay is so damn popular? Or ´Bobby Lashley? Ít´s because the junk in the trunk, I tell ya!

I wasn't saying that women shouldn't watch wrestling or that there's something wrong with it. I just had a hard time understanding it. You see, whenever I tell anyone I watch wrestling, they lose respect for me within two seconds. More often that not it's women who react this way, so for there to be women who like wrestling always confused me. I've never physically met one.

I started watching when I was 11 because my bestfriend was into it and after she explained to me that the match we were watching (X-Pac against someone on Heat) wasn't exactly real I was hooked and have been ever since. I go to shows when they come around and I watch Raw religously, Smackdown not so much.

I remember an ex-girlfriend had a thing for Bill Goldberg. Needless to say, that relationship didn't last. That reminds me of a woman that I was dating. I told her one day that I had spent hours watching Clint Eastwood Westerns on TBS or TNT. I had watched For A Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. She just sat there looking at me and said, "Now why in the world would you want to do that?" That should have been a warning sign to me. It's because of that incident that I invoked the Clint Eastwood rule. If they don't like old Clint Eastwood Westerns, they obviously don't have any taste. ;D As for why women watch wrestling, my guess is that they watch it for most of the same reasons that us guys watch it. For decent storylines (someday maybe we'll see them again) and great entertaining wrestling matches. For those I usually go to an indy show. How can you go wrong with Darin and Aaron Corbin on the same card?

That's kinda like something that happened with a chick I was interested in early summer. A couple of us were going to go see Snakes on a Plane knowing it was gonna be just over the top stupid, and since I dig really cheesy movies on occasion I was pumped. So I asked her, " hey, we're going to see Snakes on a Plane come with us."
"Ugh, no way, that would be dumb."
"Exactly, that's kinda why we're going.. c'mon it'll be fun."
"I could tell by the previews that looked stupid."
" Right, that's what I'm saying, It looks horrible, it'll be hilarious."
To make a long story short, she didn't go, we did, and had a blast, and I knew then and there that there she and I didn't have a whole lot in common.
And Clint Eastwood rules. If I can ever upload it ( and should've last week come to think of it) I'll let ya'll take a listen to my Audio Productions project senior year of college " How Clint Saved Christmas."
