Whoo! Spinoff thread! I can't be the only one who had trouble coming up with things in the "What's Making You Happy?" thread.
Anyways, I don't mean this as a way to whine and think your problems are bigger than anyone else's. I know my problems probably pale in comparison to most of yours'. I'm doing this as a way for people to vent, let off some steam, and maybe even find some solutions.
So what's making you sad and/or angry?
-Getting my hours at work cut down to about 20 hours a week when I was getting between 30-40.
-The job market sucking around here. It was bad enough before the recession. I applied for one job last week and I'm hoping I hear back but not holding my breath.
-Liking a girl that wants nothing to do with me. Wouldn't add me on MySpace after we first met last year. Won't add me on Facebook. Wouldn't talk to me AT ALL when she joined my friends and I for dinner on Friday and we sat across from each other!
-Having no dating options. All the girls I work with are at least 5 years younger than me and out of my league anyway. Kinda fell for a girl that works at Taco Bell but I saw her hanging on some guy a few weeks back. Then there's the girl I just mentioned. And that's it! All the other girls I know are my friends' wives/fiances/girlfriends.
-Hoping I'll be able to afford a new car next year. I'm driving my current one through winter just in case I crash it but after that, I'm getting rid of it as fast as possible.
-My car. It runs decently well but there's so many problems that I don't have the money to fix. The engine heats up more than normal during the summer months, especially when idling (which is why I'm getting rid of it after winter). Both rear windows are being held up by duct tape. No AC and the air vent knob broke off. No rear defrost. Sunroof doesn't work. Radio is messed up (CD player skips like crazy when cold and the volume knob only works on certain days). Probably could use new tires for winter but don't think I can afford it. The thing that gets me most about all of this is that my car is a 2000. I realize that's 10 years now but I thought car quality had improved since the '80s or so. Guess I was wrong.
