I need to elaborate more? This "voluntary" trip to Iraq each year is very reckless. I can understand if you want to entertain the troops, but WWE stars and employees aren't soldiers. In my opinion they have no business being in such an environment -- an environment where a pack of Skittles is considered a hot commodity among soldiers. That's how crapty it is over there. In order to make himself look like a samaritan, Vince is willing to put hundreds of more lives at risk. It's really kind of self-righteous and selfish. The kind of environment that regular people are stuck in all the time? I'm not a big fan of all the flag-waving, but I think it's nice of them. And Vince McMahon isn't Satan, by the way. Regardless of what JR says. You make a good point with the good gesture intent. It's really all a ploy to keep troops happy. But, I think what would really do the trick is getting them out of there rather than trying to keep their morale up with entertainment.

Next time, I see WWE will do things differently, just in case: Vince:"Chris Masters, Scotty 2 Hotty, Stevie Richards, and the rest of you, you will be 'Operation: Human Sheild'" Stevie:''Say What?'' Vince: "OK, Shawn, Hunter, Cena, and Batista, you will be part of 'Operation:Get behind the jobbers'" Ron Simmons:........................DAMN!.........*walks out* It's wrong that I'm laughing at this. And this was bound to happen. It's a WAR ZONE. Last time they had a scare, too, didn't they? I understand the whys and wherefores of doing this, but it's becoming less safe each time they go.

LOL@Michael cole grabbing the oppertunity to be a real reporter. Well, according to him he's interviewed FDR, Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and all the great world leaders of the last 50-75 years. And yet all of them pale in comparison to interviewing Harvey "Harvina" Whippleman the night he/she won the Women's Title. I'm not making this up. World's Greatest Managers DVD - it's all there.

Now I understand why Cole sucks as an announcer. His talent is reporting, just telling what happened, getting the time to write the text and then make a story with the images. It's comletely different from calling a match. And I really don't get why they hired Cole. Might as well bring in Larry King to call the matches. JR would be a great news corresepondent: BAH GAWD! The insurgents are attacking! May God have mercy on our WWE souls! Good god almightly! Stone Cold! Stone cold! Business is about to pick up folks! And you know, had the mortars blown up the WWE ring and crew, "hellfire and brimstone" would most certainly be involved in his rabid diatribe.

What if RVD did go and this happened, he would have had a nice big "I told you so" on his hands

Vince and JBL pulled the ultimate rib and paid the insurgents to try and take out Michael Cole.

lmao @ the ultimate rib. i don't think it's completely out of line to say that the organization as a whole was lucky to not have any injured members.

If you think this is a big deal this year, imagine what it's going to be like when Iraq is collapsing faster than the Colts' Super Bowl hopes.

And RVD is instantly justified. Yeah, I hope he enjoyed his day off... the day off by the way that is paid for by the blood of the men and women that his ignorant ass doesn't care enough about to entertain. His ass should be on the goddamn front lines. He's the type of human that sometimes make me ashamed to live here. Going to Iraq is stupid. Vince is an idiot. Yeah, f*** the troops. True, but at the same time that shouldn't mean that if somebody doesn't want to go because of that danger, then they should be looked down on. From a business standpoint I agree, but on a moral standpoint, what a piece of s***

I am glad my BOY RVD didnt go and he is rightfully justified in this decision. And I think WWE is justified in making him a glorified jobber. I hope these last few months of his contract, WWE makes him virtually worthless.
