Ha, ha, I can't wait. I love Tim Burton films, and Alice is one of my favorite books. I'm going to see it as soon as it comes out.

Translation: It's different from the Walt Disney Cartoon It's based off the book not the Disney movie. And yet it too is a Disney movie No, it's not based on the bookAlice doesn't don armor in the book nor is the Mad Hatter a large character. See summary below: The traditional tale has been freshened with a blast of girl power, courtesy of writer Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast). Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn't remember.[/u]

Seriously, Depp being Burton's little pet is going to make his character much more important than the Hatter actually is.

I'd be interested in this if it wasn't for Depp's Mad Hatter. Good gods, man...

Damn it, it looks like Alice is going to be a tiny person through the whole damn movie instead of becoming a giantess. f*** this shit. My interest is officially dead.

Hmmmmmmmmm. After watching the trailer, I think I'll be skipping this one. I'm not the biggest Burton fan there is, (He's Great when he wants to be, but he's getting pretty god-damned repetitive, IMO.) Man, what happened to the guy that made "Big Fish"? Where's that Tim Burton?

It looks awesome, I bloody cant wait to see this. But yes as Bob says the current Burton formula is getting rather repeptitive. Yes he's weird and all and he's endearing but he can make more serious films. Big Fish was just a phenomenal film.
