The first two were great, the third was ok. I hope Justin Timberlake is nowhere to be seen... The premise sounds good, but that trailer is pretty naff. I hope they don't recycle the jokes from the first two films like they did for the the third. Paul McCartney? Eh? How odd... Also, 3D? Again? Boring. If Wikipedia is correct Timberlake will be back

I've never found Shrek to be interesting.
That being said, it may be interesting if it's set in an "It's A Wonderful Life" type of universe.

the biggest problem with Shrek 3 was that they couldn't stretch out the plot to fit a feature length movie.
Now with a considerably more interesting idea, they may just be able to do something right...

It already looks better than the abysmal third film. I loved the first two movies, and this one looks like it could possibly be entertaining like the first two.
As for those saying "Not another Shrek movie!", two things:
1) As long as it keeps making money, there will be more.
2) YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEE IT!
I don't like the Twilight movies. So, instead of whining about there being a second one, I just don't see it.

It's a much better premise than Shrek the Third, I'll give them that. Lithgow being involved is also a plus. I might see it, but depends on if anyone else I know wants to go, since this isn't the sort of thing I feel like going to see by myself.
