I know Outkast isn't exactly a one-hit wonder, but for the most part, this is the only Outkast song that got a lot of play. Seconded only by Ms. Jackson. I don't think so. I mean Roses, So fresh and so clean, Bombs over Baghdad and The Way you move are pretty popular. and the lists goes on. Also, "Rosa Parks" and "The Whole World" were both nominated for Grammys for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group, with "The Whole World" winning one. With all that in mind, I don't think Outkast should even be remotely considered a one-hit wonder.

I don't like the strictly chart based one hit wonder thing because according to Wikipedia Weezer are a one hit wonder because Beverly Hills was their only song to chart this decade.

Oh, and here's another manufactured pop group from this decade that can count their hits on one finger. I was gonna add Sugar Jones but I doubt there songs were even hits per se. And I already mentionned Eden's Crush but here is their video. Also look closely at the girls and see if you recognize someone. Beat it to you, Fishbulb!

Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson, Darius, Eric Prydz, Modjo, A1, DJ Pied Piper and So Solid Crew, all had big hits in the UK, and never had any big hits to my recollection, so I'm sure they qualify using this logic

I remember their follow up 'Calling All Angels' because it got a lot of airplay on Commercial Radio... Those f***ing music juries must of decided it was good despite the fact no one bought that shit.

"Drops of Jupiter" is easily one of the worst songs I've heard in my life. No offence to anyone that likes them or anything...but seriously oh my god.

I think the interpretation of an one hit wonder is up for debate. For example.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_2000s_one-hit_wonders_in_the_United_StatesLook at this list and see some of the names on here. Obviously, this could be picked apart mercilessly. But the prerequisite to this list is if you only had one song in the Top 40, which is how one hit wonders used to be determined. Here's the Billboard list which I personally think is pretty good. But once again, it looks like judging by the entries, they also seem to be determining their picks by the Top 40. www.billboard.com/#/features/one-hit-wonders-of-the-2000s-page-1-1004051216.storyAnd I should note that there's a lot of songs posted here already that have been argued over whether or not they're one hit wonders that happen to be on both of the links I posted. Which reaffirms the point that this stuff is subjective.

And even then, it's not strictly to the letter of the law on Top 40. Dream's follow-up single "This Is Me" peaking at #39 would technically remove the group from one-hit wonder status. Same thing with MIMS follow-up "Like This" at #32.

Same thing with MIMS follow-up "Like This" at #32. Tis true. But I don't remember either song you mentioned. I would assume the reason they charted as high as because they were follow-up singles, which usually get airplay because of the success of their previous hit song. So far the only one hit wonder that people seem to agree on is "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter. I would throw in Eiffel 65 and Los Lonely Boys into the discussion.

If you define hit as "reaching the top 40", then Adema wouldn't be considered a one hit wonder. According to Wikipedia, they had 4 hits using that definition: "Giving in" (16), "The Way You Like It" (21), "Freaking Out" (25), and "Unstable" (25).

Like I said earlier both Blink-182 and Weezer are considered one hit wonders going by the strictly top 40 definition.
