Never understood this...what's the difference? Does it make Han slightly more of a badass if he shot first? I think so. Just seems to be used as a reason for some Star Wars geeks to moan at George Lucas to me though.

It is an excuse, but lucas had to change it in the newest ersion so they fire at the same time, its a petty reason why they hate the special edition though

I don't know I don't really care about who shot first I care more about the fact that the movies really should be left alone and not edited to fit in better with the freaking prequels.

You make the new ones to fit in with what you've already made. You don't go backwards and try to make what is established fit in with new stuff you've made. And please, don't try to tell me George Lucas had the whole saga planned out from the beginning.

I was pretty sad after I saw UP. That dude who spent so many years on that island trying to catch that bird basically got mega-screwed by another old man and a kid. I just thought no one was appreciating his integrity and how strong his word was, instead focusing on how he tries to kill both main characters. You'd try to kill them too if they ruined what was essential the work of like, 50 or 60 years. Geez.

The Big Lebowski. I know Steve Buscemi's characters die in a lot of movies, but, I was kinda sad seeing Donny go.

Granted, I can tell you exactly why it is, but I've still always found A Christmas Story to be not only wildly unfunny but openly depressing.

Yeah, Batman Returns really is just a lavish study case in Seasonal Affective Disorder. All three main characters are emotionally tortured individuals who, instead of hitting up the bars, dress in latex and strap bombs to birds.

A friend of mine would always say that the end of Conan the Barbarian made him sad because Conan ran out of people to kill. Just, he's standing around, with no guy to kill. It's so sad ;D
