I LOVED this game and even played it with my friends outside of the WWE website.
Just to clarify some rules (assuming they are the same as the WWE version)
You get 3 points for your superstar being IN a match, and some extra points if its a PPV match or a special rules match.
You get a point every time your superstar uses his or her main finishing move. Each superstar only gets ONE. You also get a point if they counter an opposing finishing move. If the finishing move leads directly to a pin or submission, you get 2 EXTRA points for winning the match with your finisher on top of the normal points awarded for winning a match (usually 3 points for winning a match) So for example - "Orton hits an RKO for the pin" would mean 1 point for the RKO, 3 points for winning the match, and 2 extra points because he used his finisher to win, total of 6 Points.
You get 2 points for connecting with a foreign object shot (which is anything that would be ILLEGAL to use according to the rules of the match). So, Ladders in a TLC match don't count, and anything thats a part of the ring, like the ring steps, would never count unless they are picked up and used somewhere other than their normal position as part of the ring. When Cena choked out Umaga with the detached ropes, that IS counted as a foreign object shot. PLUS he had him in the STF which would count as a finisher victory.
An APPEARANCE can be counted once for every time a Superstar appears on TV until the next commercial break. Recap videos (including RAW Rebound, etc.) and "Dont try this" videos and anything that would be considered an advertisement (like that "I dont have one" Breaking Point video advertising the next PPV, or Cena's Gillette commercials) DON'T COUNT. I believe it's 1 Point per appearance.
In general, a superstar that shows up, has a match, and wins with his finisher would get 10 points for the night, if they don't do anything extra. 1 for the Appearance, 3 for having a match, 1 for using a finisher, 3 for winning, and 2 bonus points for the finisher directly causing the pinfall.
For a big example, Raw opens with Cena in the ring (1 point for Cena), cutting a promo on Orton. They show a video of Summerslam with Cena and Orton in it, but that doesn't count for any points because not only is it a recap video, there also hasn't been any commercial breaks. After the video, Cena continues the promo (no further points yet), and Orton comes out (1 point for Orton). They argue, and Orton hits Cena with an RKO (1 point for Orton for using his finishing move) and then announces a match between them is starting right now. Cut to commercial. When we return, the bell rings to start the match, and Cena and Orton are shown locking up. They EACH get another appearance point for this segment, as it was separated by a commercial break. They also each get 3 points for being in an official match. Cena counters another RKO attempt (1 point), and goes for the STF, which he LOCKS IN (1 point for LOCKING IN a submission finisher, but if he never gets it on it doesn't count). Orton gets to the ropes (1 point for countering a finisher), and rolls outside, grabs a chair, and hits Cena with it outside the ring (2 points for Orton) while the ref was distracted by Legacy's sudden arrival (1 point for Ted, 1 point for Cody). Orton drags Cena back in the ring and goes for the pin, kickout. Orton pumps up viper-style for the RKO, Cena counters (1 point for Cena) and hits the Attitude Adjustment (NO points for Cena yet because you only get ONE finisher, and his is the STF). Randy kicks out (so no points for countering because the AA isn't Cena's finisher). Cena flips him over and locks in the STF (1 point). Orton taps out (2 Finisher Victory points for Cena, and 3 points for Cena for winning the match). Later that night after several more commercial breaks, Orton is shown backstage with Legacy, blaming them for the loss (1 point each for Orton, Ted, Cody). At the end of the night Orton jumps Cena in the parking lot (1 point for Orton, Cena) and hits him with a trash can (2 points for foreign object shot). End of RAW.
Totaling up -
CENA on the team gets 15 points added to your team score
ORTON on the team gets 12 points
Ted gets 2 points, Cody gets 2 points
Hope that clarifies some things. Brahma let me know if you are using different point values and I'll change these numbers to keep things correct.
