I knew Vince would get 3 hours, Bonnie Hammer loves WWE and Vince could pretty much ask for whatever and get it from her. Well I never

Random things I could see WWE doing to counter this if they really wanted: ~Special Suprise Draft Show ~Rock hosts. ~Cena faces Undertaker.~To draw away "pure wrestling fans": Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels in a 30 minute Iron Man match. ~Chris Masters in...a bowler hat. I don't think WWE cares THAT much about TNA lol

I think TNA showed their hand waaaay too early sure they have a month to hype Hogans debut but WWE also now have a month to counter it.
If they do get The Rock to guest host Raw then it will certainly overshadow Hogans debut also i think we can expect some top matches and Maybe a surprise title change as well.

They'll probably look to have a three hour show to detract from TNA as much as possible, but I'm not sure they'd just throw away WM money with Cena/Taker. But they could if they wanted

Honestly, I think people are going to read way, way too much into this. I very seriously doubt Vince has anything special planned to go against TNA that he wasn't going to do anyway.
It's the first show of the new year, so a 3 hour special wouldn't be all that surprising. Also, the Rock has been rumored for that date for quite a while now -- before Hogan even signed with TNA in the first place. Beyond that, I very highly doubt that he's going to do anything that wasn't already being planned anyway. I expect Raw to be above average not because Vince is going against TNA but because it's the first of the year and he wants to start the new year off right.
And of course, I fully predict every dirtsheet and NEWZZZZZ site to say "omg vince fearz tnaaaaaa!!!!!1111oneoneone" and say that every little out-of-the-ordinary thing that Vince does is a reaction to TNA when in reality it probably isn't even on his radar.
I'll restate my prediction:
If Rock isn't hosting: 3.5 to 1.1, with a swing of about .2 or .3 during Hogan's segments.
If Rock is hosting: 4.0 to 0.5. Hogan won't matter.

Even if it is "just TNA" it's in your best interest to assert yourself as top dog. Annihilating TNA would be a good start since they are trying to be brave and challege WWE. So why doesnt' WWE want Booker T back? My theory is that, while Vince has kept the old names in the top spots for way too long, and only belatedly started pushing young talent. He at least has finally understood that you can't build the future of your company by bringing in more old-timers, who will then demand a spot that puts them ahead of most of the current roster

I dare say Booker T might return that night too. I would mark for that. Hard. I really hope there are some huge surprises that come out of that Monday night. It'd be nice to have a big night feeling again about wrestling.

There's already a thread about how people think they're going to respond to this.
