Iowa and GT in the Orange Bowl What a sucky game that is. Lowest rated BCS bowl I bet. No offense to Iowa and GT fans, just from a general perspective.

I miss the days when all the big bowls were on New Year's Day (Orange, Sugar, Rose, Fiesta). Made Jan 1. so awesome but now there's not much to watch that day. They should go back to that format then have the title game the 2nd or something. Agreed. If you want to keep the BCS atleast do it right so its over by the time I have to go back to school and don't drag it out to the 7th. And put the damn Cotton Bowl back on the 1st

Anybody know if Stanzi will be back by then? I probably should figure that out before I celebrate.

Count me in on hating how far these BCS games are spread now. It's REALLY hard to watch the Rose, Sugar, etc. then try and get interested in the GMAC bowl. The scheduling sure is something.

Georgia Tech is one of the worst possible teams one of these Big 10 guys could have drawn. That triple option with Dwyer is borderline unstoppable. Ohio State and Iowa have their hands full. Actually, I thought Georgia Tech was the best possible draw for Iowa. Teams that give Iowa the most trouble are the wide open spread attacks. A team that runs the ball almost every down? I'll take that every day of the week.

Man, I wonder if that Boise State vs. TCU game will even sell out. It's a 75,000 seat stadium. No chance. This is one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen a bowl game make. That is probably the REASON they did it. So they can point and say, "Look, you guys couldn't even fit a 75,000 seat stadium! What makes you guys think you are fit for the national championship?!" Well that, and so there is no "BCS Busting" this year, IE a non-BCS school beats a BCS school. Any upset that happens will be a BCS team doing the upset. And that's BS. Now I wish that Nebraska had beaten Texas. Sorry Boise State, but you were being screwed either way.

Title Game: Alabama 38, Texas 17 Rose: Oregon 42, Ohio State 28 Sugar: Cincinnati 31, Florida 24 (OT) Orange: Iowa 21, Georgia Tech 18 Fiesta: TCU 52, Boise St. 31 The only two ways the Cincy Florida score can happen is if they go into OT tied 17-17 and Cincy gets the ball first and scores a TD plus PAT making it 24-17, Florida scores a TD plus PAT making it 24-24 and then Cincy scores a TD plus PAT and then Florida miffs. Or they can go in 24-24 and Cincy scores but Florida miffs it. In other words, the only way that score happens is if Cincy goes first. If Florida goes first, the score would be 30-24, cause Cincy won't need the PAT.
