Don't have any problems with any of those myself, though I have a friend and writing partner who uses 'then' for 'than' a lot. I've gotten good at tuning it out when he does it, but I still find it blaring when it's done by anyone else.

I've gotta admit that I frequently get e and i reversed in a lot of words, "weird" included. I'm pretty good about the rest of them though.

That was pretty cool. And for the life of me, I can't stop using "alot" either way.

Nah, not so much a problem with words like "their" "they're" , but I get names confused like Dan and Dave sometimes.

It's i before e except after c! Wierd. You know I wish they had never taught us that. There are just way too many exceptions for it to ever be helpful. All it's done is permanently f*** up my ability to spell certain words.

Eh most of the time my spelling mistakes just come from typos or quickly typing and not really being concerned with fixing it when I'm done. I mean I know the difference between they're, their and there but if I mix them around in my response to someone here on the 'Crap I'm not overly concerned with correct that problem. It's a message board not an essay contest.

I do alot a lot when I hit the space bar at the wrong time while I'm typing fast. I'm also bad about hitting space after the t in the.

Back in middle school, I was trying to see if this girl still liked me, by using my friends screen name. She figured out it was me because I used "alot." Oh well.

It's a simple method to remember how to spell certain words like "thief". If you ever forget how, just think of what thiefs do which is to steal "THIngs".

I'm not really a grammar nazi or anythiing but people using 'then' instead of 'than' on purpose irritates me.

I got pooped on not to long ago because I wrote the word Defiantly and the person thought I was trying to say Definitely . Sometimes the reader is wrong That's funny, because I am constantly seeing that word misspelled as "defiantly." Which always makes for great quotes, such as, "I am defiantly going to see Avatar."
