Marc Bulger is considering retiring, sources tell the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
After cleaning out his locker Thursday, Josh Cribbs said he feels like his Browns career is over.
"I wished the coaches luck and told them I hoped they kept their job," said Cribbs. "But it absolutely felt like the last time I'd be setting foot inside the building. I feel like it's over for me in Cleveland."
Cribbs feels betrayed and insulted by the Browns' $1.4M/year "take it or leave it" offer.

The good news is that there is plenty of time to get something worked out. And even if they didn't Cribbs ain't going nowhere for another 2.5 years that are left on his current contract. That being said PAY THE MAN!

According to Profootballtalk.com, Jack Del Rio will be "interviewing for his job" when he meets with owner Wayne Weaver next week.
Del Rio will reportedly have to be "on his best behavior" while setting aside his "moody" tendencies. The only thing saving Del Rio at this point is the $15 million he's owed for the next three seasons, thanks to Weaver picking up the coach's option earlier in the season.

Saints Cowboys d. Packers Super Bowl Cowboys d. Chargers Yes, I just predicted a Wade Phillips vs. Norv Turner Super Bowl. It is actually impossible this year for the Patriots to meet the Colts in the second round of the playoffs. Colts are the #1 seed and the Patriots are the #3. Colts are guaranteed the lowest seed available this year.

Anquan Boldin (ankle, knee) is expected to be a game-time decision Sunday.

Anquan Boldin (ankle, knee) is expected to be a game-time decision Sunday. I'd be more concerned if Fitzgerald wasn't able to play. I think Fitzgerald takes a lot of attention off Boldin and he can exploit single coverage. Then again, ANY team in the league would have him. I'm just saying they still have probably the second best receiver in the league playing on Sunday (my pick for best is Andre Johnson.).

Will say right now don't have a good feeling about tomorrow night If you're worried about beating a team you already beat twice, including last week by 24 points, you know you're a Cowboys fan. I think tomorrow is a tossup for the Cowboys, but if they win I think they at worst go to the Super Bowl. Getting the monkey off their back would be huge.

Browns president Mike Holmgren has informed head coach Eric Mangini that he and his entire staff will keep their jobs in 2010. Play Holmgren off, Keyboard Cat! I'm predicting a much different outcome to the Bengals-Jets game on Saturday. Bengals are getting Peko and Crocker back, plus Benson will be playing, and Ocho just has a bruised knee. That, and the Bengals will actually be TRYING to win. So, here's how the AFC shapes up for me: Bengals d. Jets Ravens d. Pats Colts d. Ravens Bengals/Chargers is going to be a tough one to call. Their last game was decided at the last second by a field goal. Could go either way. Colts d. Bengals Chargers d. Colts If the Bengals pull out the win against the Chargers, they're not going to the Super Bowl. The Chargers, however, would going to hand the Colts a loss. They just match up better. NFC...don't give a rip, they're going to have the big spotlight with Brett Favre and the Saints, but they're going to lose the big one.

What does Matt Hughes have to say about all these negative Cowboys fans? Just joshing but seriously you have to be in it to win it at least and you've scrapped the December jinx this year, why not the playoff game jinx? Be more positive! ;D

And in other news, the Cincinnati Bengals put an ad on Craigslist asking for 100 snow shovelers to clear the stands and walkways for tomorrow's game. Pay is $8 an hour. Cheap bastards.

I'd shovel snow at Lambeau for free...granted I have a lot more free time than people with more interesting lives.

Most of the ESPN crowd believe that the Seahawks will actually go after USC head coach Pete Carroll.

Most of the ESPN crowd believe that the Seahawks will actually go after USC head coach Pete Carroll. Someone get them the tapes of Carroll's last NFL run and remind them why he should stay in College Football. Plus the Seahawks don't have the money to throw around at free agents like USC does
