I'd care if Bring Me To Life wasn't the most overplayed song of all time.

I went ahead and bought half of the Iron Maiden pack, three tracks from Chinese Democracy, and Hysteria. My DLC is now:
Juke Box Hero Metallica Pack Little Sister N.I.B. War Pigs Ten Speed (Of God's Blah blah blah) Beethoven's C*** Shockwave More Than a Feeling Rock and Roll Band The HMX Pack 01 Hysteria Saints of Los Angeles Inside the Fire Working Man (Vault Edition) Baba O'Riley My Generation Young Man Blues Toxicity B.Y.O.B. Tom Sawyer (Original) YYZ Limelight (Original) Under the Bridge Self-Esteem Dead Kennedys Pack Flathead More Human than Human Chinese Democracy Better If the World Renegade Billion Dollar Babies 2 Minutes to Midnight The Trooper Number of the Beast (Original) Run to the Hills Hallowed Be Thy Name (Live) Iron Maiden (Live)
Personally, I think the vocals on the live tracks kinda suck, but I'm still grateful that I get to play Hallowed Be Thy Name on anything.

System PS2 Band(s) Cold Slither or Iron, Blood, and Lightning(Avatar fans'll get it) Bass/Guitar:Easy/Medium Drums Easy DLC:none
Anybody know how to get plaster gunk off a drum pedal? A piece of my ceiling fell down last night and it got said paster gunk on my guitar and the drum pedal. I cleaned my guitar pretty easy, but my PD still has residue on it after ten minutes of dusting and scratching.

Do you all know about the Pepsi promotion with Rock Band? Pepsi is putting codes under the caps and you can turn those into free Rock Band downloads. I've gotten 3 thus far (hard to choose because I already have most of their list to choose from) But you can turn it into a free song or a chance to win other prizes. Just thought I'd pass along that information because, why not get a free download with a thirst quenching Pepsi?? [/shill]

Friggin' A. Hopefully they'll do the promotion in Ye Old England. Though the Pepsi cans over here still use the CM Punk design so I'm not keeping my hopes up for the same competition over here. Oh and I've had pedal issues, pad issues and I just hope one day EA will release the £400 proper kit in Europe cause well I have been drumming for five years and I don't think plastic can cope with my size twelves. Ok so about the DLC recently, it's been pretty outstanding compared with Guitar Hero so I ain't complaining one bit. Though no Stone Henge from Spinal Tap?! What the heck? That's like releasing a Lynyrd Skynyrd pack and not including Free Bird or Tuesday's Gone...oh wait.

That's like releasing a Lynyrd Skynyrd pack and not including Free Bird or Tuesday's Gone...oh wait. Yep, RB2's DLC is pretty amazing. For one, I love how the game incorporates the downloaded songs into the actual game. In other words during Tour mode if you are playing a mystery setlist, the game includes DLC when it randomly selects the songs. So it really seems that DLC is actually adding onto the game. With GH World Tour, the DLC can only be played in quickplay (on the Wii anyway), so it seems like more of a "bonus feature" than something that actually expands the actual game. Not to mention the fact that RB2 has a far superior catalog of songs to choose from. In other words whereas GH releases a new game every six months, Harmonix is simply increasing the lifespan of a single game by making so many new songs available for it.

Spare the ones I mentioned earlier, the only other song from the Country Pack I'll get is Suds in the Bucket. I know, I've already traded in my "man card" a lot before (this will probably be my 5th offense), I enjoy Sara Evans.

Quick question guys. Until I can pick up the Ion kit I was just wondering if the stand alone pedal for GH-Metallica will work on a Rock Band 1 kit? Kind of a random question but seeing as my bass pedals are breaking all the time I was wondering if this one would be compatible. Would save a lot of hassle, instead of having to buy another kit all together.

I would imagine it wouldn't, as it is 2 different manufacturers who make it.
Check with Gamestop, or online. There are other mediums to purchase a differnet pedal. Gamestop actually is selling a "dual pedal", in which you can buy a $29 pedal with a splitter, so you can plug in 2 pedals to your RB2 drums and play double bass pedal. I may just give that a shot if I can scrounge enough money in the near future.

^Cheers for the advice, figured it was a long shot. It really is getting me down how EA has treated the rest of the World like the Capital Wasteland in Fallout, we still haven't got the Rock Band 2 instruments and it's been six months...>_>
I have another plan on rigging up a metal face plate which should keep my pedal from snapping again. So yea while it does sound fun being able to use machine gun pedals like...
...I'll be quite happy if I can get through Battery with one pedal without something breaking. =/

Heck, the Escape the Flood songs, from what I listened to (first minute or so) sounds REAL paint-by-numbers post-punk. I've always had a sort of soft spot for Maroon 5. They are lame, I know, I know, but damn, if their songs aren't catchy. Makes Me Wonder was on heavy rotation when I worked at Old Chicago, so I may wind up downloading that. But I'm still waiting on my Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Reel Big Fish, or other third wave ska bands. Heck, I'd LOVE a Five Iron Frenzy pack (I know... NO CHRISTIAN ROCK/SKA IN MY ROCK BAND BLARGHGL!)...
