First, I just wanna say this was the only thing I watched of Raw last night, from Sheamus' DQ to the end. But this just makes me think a few things.
First, ya gotta love hypocrisy in the fans. They laugh and cheer for DX humorously tripping a referee to get DQ'd, but Sheamus clips a ref's knee and gets DQ'd, and the fans hate him?
Second, I really think it's bullshit that anytime Cena's on a Raw match where he's facing the champion for a title has to come to a DQ finish. Remember Edge earlier this year? How he hit himself with the title (from what I remember...), and got DQ'd? It's getting tiresome. Why can't we, I dunno, see Cena actually lose such a match cleanly?
Third...for one night, I'm happy. Happy that Cena didn't get to stand up at the end of the night, proud to see him trying to turn but couldn't, and happy to see a heel stand tall, holding the WWE title without Cena getting a final pop from the crowd before the night's end. It gives me the impression that even though Sheamus' reign ending is inevitable, at least we can say he left the arena with Cena out of action.
Your thoughts?

I would've rather Cena won the title than a cop out like that. Especially because referees are so split on what is a DQ-worthy offense -- sometimes it's a-okay to punch the ref square in the face, but other times accidentally bumping into them constitutes a disqualification. It's ridiculous.
Also, why the hell can't someone who wins by DQ opt to continue the match? I've never understood that. If anything, it could be a handy device for a face to get hit with a chair from the get-go, opt to continue, and then put up a valiant fight before either getting a big win or going down in a valiant loss.
Oh, and only reason Sheamus got to leave Cena lying is because John won't be on Raw next week.

All I can say is, John Cena (storyline wise) does not, I repeat does NOT deserve another title shot. My reasoning? Well Chris Jericho had to do all in his power to get a rematch when DX pulled the exact same trick and this was just TWO WEEKS AGO. Why is it any different now? Cena is supposedly not on it next week (Hope that's not a spoiler as it has been reported), so hopefully there is a new challenger.

SuperCena avoids all logical scenarios on his way to another title reign! He just puts them in the STF and then goes and wins a title.

That plays a role, having a reason to put John out of action, but it would of been absurd to change the title on a free show with zero buldup. Maybe if it was like Cena vs HBK, with both having been champions so many times, a title change is not as big a deal, but this is different. Sheamus winning was something virtually no one predicted, so to end it like that would of been pretty messed up.

Cena was also laid out on the Jesse VentuRAW to end the show.

With the way they did it, though, I would've rather they'd just had Cena win clean. That's basically what he did, just with a cheap cop out to avoid giving him the belt just yet.

They're only doing as they're led by the commentary team. Cena attacks Sheamus from behind as Sheamus goes to leave the ring - it's because Sheamus is being arrogant in turning his back. Sheamus attacks Cena from behind 20 minutes later (effectively payback) and it's cowardly.

This being Triple H, we can label this "redundant".

Who hasn't lost clean to Triple H? I mean honestly, how many people has he faced this year that he didn't beat clean?

The real travesty was Cena not being DQ'd first for not breaking the Attitude Adjustment when Sheamus clearly had both hands on the ropes. The ref allows Cena to pull him off the ropes, then when Sheamus innocently reaches back for them and accidentally grabs the referee's shirt, he's instantly disqualified.
I smell a conspiracy.
Even with all that, Sheamus was enough of a good sport to leave the ring without arguing, and Cena attacks him from behind. John Cena clearly deserves to be suspended or at least fined for his actions.
