Nope, wait for the 4th one I think that will be great. But if you have to read an autobiography, then I would say you should read Chris Jerichos. Not a fan or you already did? Then consider Bret Harts Book.

Its not as good as the other two, but I found it enjoyable. If you enjoyed the first two then yeah go ahead and read it.

Foley's first biography he was a wrestler trying to be an author. His confidence in his writing wasn't that good, but that is what gave the book it's charm. It felt like it was from the heart, and so many "autobiographies" feel like they have been funneled through 10 voices. The 2nd book, he is more confident as a writer, and it begins to show as he begins to understand his audience. It's probably a quicker read then the first, but it really is a good book. By the third book he is an author first, and it really does show. He seems more concerned with protecting an image, and unlike the 2nd book, which seemed more of a give and take with the reader, this reads as a lecture. He is too overconfident now, muddling the book down with things that most people wouldn't find humorous or interesting. It's not a bad book, but it doesn't even feel like it was written by the same person as the first two.

I liked it. It really went into in-depth detail about his feud with Edge leading to the rebirth of ECW where they teamed together. It was quite fascinating to see how he originally wanted it to happen and why certain things were and weren't done.

I liked his third book. I thought it was nice to see some of the backstage lies Vince tells people. Not going to buy his fourth book, because it'll be released (most likely) while he's with TNA, so it'll be non-stopped TNA love.

Well, I loved his first two autobiographies , but I never got through The Hardcore Diaries. I don't know if I'll pick up the 4th book. Probably not.
Shouldn't Jericho be relasing a 2nd book any time now?

foleys books level of quality is almost an exact parallel to the godfather trilogy, only two differences being that godfather 3 actually had a few redeemable qualities, and that they werent stupid enough to continue making them after their third awful attempt

I don't recommend it. I loved Have A Nice Day (I've probably read it atleast 6 times), and I enjoyed Foley is Good (although on a much lower level than his first book).
But I disliked Hardcore Diaries to the point that it almost ruined his first two books for me. I can't even really explain why, but I just hated his third book. The tone was different, he talked almost obsessively about Melina, and he came off as kind of creepy. And aside from everything else, its from an era of his career that I personally didn't care about as much as the eras covered in his first 2 books.

I personally didn't like it as much as his first two, and it is[/i] a completely different beast, but it's still worth a read, I'd say.

The third book is overbearing in that Foley pretty much switches off between:
"My ideas are brilliant! People need to use them! " and
"I love doing charity work. I really do love it despite most people hating it, and most celebrities seem to hate doing charity work for people but I've talked them into doing charity work because I'm a hell of a guy and I really do love despite not loving it at first."

Just didn't like they guy as much after reading it.

I liked it because after i read it i watched the Hardcore Diaries edition of the Foley DVD. It was fun knowing what was going thru his head during the matches.

The third book is pretty much about a booking idea that didn't happen the way Foley wanted it. If anything, it's a good view about how the writers and Vince process angles.

I loved the first two. I've read Have A Nice Day multiple times, and Foley is Good a few times. Hardcore Diaries I read once, and skipped through the second time. He complains too much in it. And like others have said Mick goes off on how his idea was golden, and would have worked. It was a good idea, I give him that, but he came across as very egotistical in this book.

To be fair, it's a diary, and all diaries are "all about you" sorts of deals. Reminds me of in the extra chapters of Have a Nice Day's paperback run, Mick seemed more irritated, something he felt bad about and worth mentioning in Foley is Good, saying that he generally likes to share "Happy Mick" and is content to throw "Pissed Off Mick" into the editor's waste bin.
