When did PPVs stop being $19.95, or even $29.95?

When Vince realized he can make more money Not from me. This elevated price has persuaded me to NOT buy D2D. I was already to go until I saw the price and said; "f*** that".

When Vince realized he can make more money Not from me. This elevated price has persuaded me to NOT buy D2D. I was already to go until I saw the price and said; "hug that". This is exactly what I was thinking. Not about this one, mind you. My wife was going to get me Wrestlemania for my birthday, then saw the damn price, and said that I was getting something else. Now that I think about it, she never did get around to getting me anything because we went to order it on my birthday, and it just slipped her mind after that. Thanks a bundle, Vince!

I believe the first $40 one was One Night Stand this year. The PPVs get worse yet the price goes up. Kind of sad.

Do you realize that for 39.95, you can feed hundreds of children in poverty ridden countries this holiday season?
Or buy a copy of Final Fantasy 12 and have something to do for the next 100 hours instead of 3.
But it's either charge 40 bucks for a PPV or make cutbacks such as releasing Scotty 2 Hotty so you can't complain about it.

Yeah thats why I usually don't get PPVs, you can spend 40$ on much better things. Like booze for example.

It kinda seems like there might have been some internal sabotage on ECW, it's like they've tried to make it fail.

wwf/e ppv's stopped going for $29.95 back in early part of 02 and went to $34.95. I think the $39.95 ones started at this past Vengeance or GAB, not 100% sure.

Theres to many this month, you just cant afford them after a while, the price of cable is already out of control and besides its the holiday season. I agree with the person who said you can buy a new video game or a few DVD's for the same momey.
