I remember reading that Gallagher has TEH NUCLEAR HEATZ with Joel Hodgson because they were both doing a standup show and Gallagher insulted Joel's act to his face, which resulted in the next 5 years of Gallagher insults on Mst3k.

after reading the article, I wouldn't be surprised if he has TEH NUCLEAR HEATZ with pretty much every other stand up comedian he's met in the past 15 years.

Like a jokes not going to be funny because I saw the comedian sip some water 2 minutes before he told it?

Not entirely sure who Gallagher is, but worth noting when I first saw this thread my first instinct was to think Megatokyo. Not sure why, not even a fan.

Gallagher comes off as a bitter man who takes himself way too seriously.

I performed with Kenny Rogers for one year as his opening act, and I got to visit every major American city and notice the audience, and Detroit was one of the worst. Comparing them to 100, I did 100 dates with him. It was no surprise to me that the riot at the basketball game occurred in Detroit. It would not have occurred in Minneapolis.

I found it funny that he mentioned Minneapolis as the calm, quiet city considering the abysmally silent audience on Raw this week. But yeah, it must really suck being such a bitter, curmudgeonly old man. Especially when you're a bitter old man AND you're freakin' Gallagher.

Yeah, I find it pretty ironic to read GALLAGHER complaining about other comedians being mediocre.

But honestly, I would rather listen to him complain than watch his routines. And I actually like some of his old-school bits.

Eh, I liked it better when he was going to hit a watermelon and someone took the watermelon and ate it for a snack, so Gallagher gets hit in the head with the mallet.
