"- TNA is set to return to the New York & Connecticut area in January...
* 1/8 - Westbury, Long Island @ Westbury Music Fair * 1/9 - Poughkeepsie, NY @ Mid-Hudson Civic Center * 1/10 - Danbury, CT @ O'Neil Center
- Kevin Nash is scheduled to work those house shows. Having to work some house shows is part of his recent suspension. "

I find it funny that he has to work house shows as a sort of punishment.
I also find it sad for those that regularly work the house shows, and wonder how they must feel that since Nash is in trouble, he has to work with them.

But isn't nash like 46? I don't think the others wrestler who work the house shows are as old as him.

My understanding was, that the old guys in TNA don't have to work house shows, on the grounds that they are old and don't want to travel. The young guys want the gate money.

That's like saying "I'll teach Math at your high school, but I'm not grading papers and tests" These older guys need to suck it up or get out IMO.They aren't helping the company, in that if someone wants to see, for example Nash, wrestle live, it just ain't going to happen unless it's a PPV (in which half or so are at the Impact Zone anyway) or you live in Florida.

It's good that TNA is forcing Big Lazy to work house shows. That should show him that he's not above the rest of the roster.

Not every "old guy" doesn't do house shows. Angle, Jarrett, Team 3D, Booker T and Steiner are or in Bookers were in the house show rotation. Some don't like Sting, Foley and Nash but none of the three wrestle on Impact often either.

Pretty sad that a guy sticks up for the safety and well-being of his fellow worker and gets suspended and "punished" for it.

I will be at the CT show, so this is good news to me. I might have to go to that one too, although was the punishment having to work a house show or having to work Danbury?

If I'm a young guy, I actually would likely NOT want Nash working the house shows...I'd want more of the gate money!

Gotta imagine it's the way he went about things (i.e. cutting a shoot promo in front of the IMPACT ZONE and by extension making TNA look like WCW, I mean, more like WCW) rather than what he did (i.e. complain that Sabin nearly got crippled).
I did laugh at the 'punishment' though. Man forced to do his job as part of his disciplinary procedure.
