M.V. Peeved After defeating Kane in a Manchester Street Fight, Montel Vontavious Porter was sacrificed by Mr. Kennedy to the Brothers of Destruction. Next week on SmackDown, the young Superstar will have nowhere to run as he faces the Big Red Monster in a Steel Cage Match, as ordered by General Manager Theodore Long.
Chavo’s message As their intense rivalry became even more personal, Chavo Guerrero delivered a strong message to United States Champion Chris Benoit, attacking him with a chair after Benoit’s victory. Chavo wants Benoit to stay out of his business, but will the Rabid Wolverine persist to get answers?
Royal Contract signing
After weeks of buildup, King Booker and Batista will make it official as they take part in an official "royal" contract signing for their match at Survivor Series. Be sure to tune in as King Booker drops a royal bombshell on the Animal.
This week's preemptions:
Witchita (KSCW): Fri. 11/24, 9-11pm Davenport (KGCW): Fri. 11/24, 9-11pm St. Louis (KPLR): Sat. 11/25, 3-5pm Austin (KNVA): Fri. 11/24, 11pm-1am

Well it's either watch this or Shrek 2 and since I already own that on DVD (which I've never even watched) I think I'll stick with Smackdown tonight.
Here's a pre-show topic for everyone to discuss:
A few weeks ago, Michael Cole announced that Smackdown pulled in the biggest ratings in the history of the CW Network. However, no one seemed to remember that the CW Network had only been around for a month. Discuss.

Is Cole still right? Yes? Then what are you complaining about? He's also saying they've beaten 50 other shows (or so) in every other timeslot in a monthlong period, so there's that as well.

I'll tune in for Benoit vs. Finlay of course. Major kudos to Michael Hayes for making Smackdown a MUCH better show lately, even with some of WWE's shackles (such as exploitation) being locked on his writing. Hayes has gotten me to start watching Smackdown again folks, and while most do not care about one viewer, to win me back says a lot about how much the show has improved and gotten me interested.

Because they could have easily just said "We are currently the highest rated show on this brand new network" rather than adding a variable that makes it seem suspicious.

Question. Someone else originally did this opening theme right? Cuz I remember it sounding way differently.
