.......the internet was never beautiful. It was back in the early 90s The internet was crap in the 90s. Plus the only use back then was the trading of porn. Nowadays, it is used to trade porn and give birth to memes.

Communicating with the world was the biggest prospect back in the day. Only people who could program, could access the internet back then, and I was lucky enough to have a dad, who could program, So I discovered the internet quite early.

I remember waiting about 30 mins for a single porn picture to load.

A picture is worth a thousand words, as true on the net as it is anywhere else.

A picture is worth a thousand words, as true on the net as it is anywhere else. Only usually that picture is stupid, and contains a lot of overused, annoying words.

My biggest issue with the motivational posters is that they're not even used correctly most of the time.

My biggest issue with the motivational posters is that they're not even used correctly most of the time. This. A proper demotivator, like on www.despair.com/viewall.html can be poetic because they are true parodies that are designed to resemble actual motivational posters. But ever since the meme started and demotivator generators were created, it became a lazy way to create image macros.

My biggest issue with the motivational posters is that they're not even used correctly most of the time. and also ironic, because most of them, don't even motivate.

Vader disapproves of this thread. If only Vader were Facepalming, we'd have the trifecta. But maybe he's Force Facepalming, so I'm gonna allow it.

I'd like to start a campaign in which anyone who continues to use these completely played out and annoying internet fades be banned from said internet. Also, any combonation of the three used with another should equal a year in prison. And not the resort hotel and spa prison, but the federal pound you in the ass prison. An example of all three would be posting a fake Motivational Poster in this thread that had a picture of some anime character doing a facepalm with the words "FACEPALM-Because sometimes even an Epic Fail doesn't do justice." Who's with me? Don't see a problem with it myself ;D
