No, not the Palace of Wisdom. I've noticed seemingly every modern Titantron has the wrestlers posing in this big, vaulted church looking thing with big stained glass windows and everything. I'm wondering if this is an actual church somewhere or just a big soundstage or something.
Because if it's an actual church, there's something oddly funny about wrestlers posing dramatically therein. And it'd definitely put a humorous bent if you had fans making 'pilgrimages' to it.

Every year around the holidays WWE does a couple days of video shoots where they do nothing but tron shots. That way they don't have to pull people aside to do them during the rest of the year.
The most recent one was shot in a building that looks church-like.

I think the church is somewhere near Boston, because they usually film those Titantron inserts around the Survivor Series. The new ones filmed in Washington DC should start airing sometime soon. That's if they did them, of course.

Yeah, there was also a time when all trons and promo vids seemed to involve someone at somepoint hanging out and looking tough in a rainstorm.

Who has the church in their video? I've noticed Punk and Knox.

Who has the church in their video? I've noticed Punk and Knox. Miz and Morrison were in the church, but since a lot of those shots are together, they're aren't a whole lot of them by themselves in their tiatntrons, just a few shots. Orton and Legacy have them as well. I thought this thread was about D-Von though.

A lot of their past tron shoots have been really good. The spotlight shoot, that hallway shoot, the outdoor brick wall shoot, the AWESOME rain shoot! This church one seems to be continuing the trend.

I'm surprised by the overall positivity in this thread - personally, I hate them.
I mean, some of the them definitely look great, and it works for certain characters, but I think the whole "audio/video" package should be unique for each wrestler, and having the same shots and backgrounds in every Tron just dilutes them all.
I understand why they do it (to save time and money), but considering they tape about ten backstage segments per show (and there are TONS of cameras and camera-men around), would it really be so hard to take one person aside per show and tape each one in a unique location? Hell, if each person were filmed by a different operator, you'd end-up with lots of very different shots; one guy might like close-ups, one might like low angles, etc.
Or why not just film everyone in front of a green-screen?
