By the way, I've been meaning to ask this--I recently downloaded Windows 7 onto my computer; how do I re-link my PC to my 360 so that I can play music and videos and such on it?

I pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 today... at least, I THOUGHT I did!
At the Best Buy, I saw the empty pre-order boxes sitting there right in the Xbox 360 section and took it and put down my money. Only now, when I'm home, do I see that I got the PC version!
Now, keep in mind... the PC games were in another part of the store, nowhere near the console games. They just put the PC ones in the Xbox section.
So now, I'm forced to let this fester in my mind for a few days until I can finally get the chance to return to the store to rectify this...
and snork you Gamestop for not carrying the Collector's Edition! You dillweeds are the only reason I even went to the damn Best Buy to order it anyway!
Sorry, folks. I just had to vent there.

So my good soldier of a launch 360 finally dropped a RRoD on me after 3-4 years of faithful service, just as I pick up Assasin's Creed 2, L4D2, CivRev, Shadow Complex, get to the second prestige on MW2, and get the DLC for Trials. Very inconvenient.
Not sixty minutes later, I am back from the store setting up my brand new Arcade. A part of me thinks my devotion to this machine is sort of pathetic for a 26 year old man. I couldn't be parted from it for one day, nay one HOUR.
Aside from that, I am loving finally connecting to my plasma through HDMI, I can really see the difference. I also started Fallout 3, which I have had since last Christmas, and it's great.

Welcome to the "loser 26 year old gamer club". My 360 RRoD' a few years ago (2 days AFTER warranty ended, of course), and so I had to buy a new one. One Air Force paycheck ($500) later, I got an Elite with 120GB HD. That thing has still lasted pretty well, so hopefully it will last until the next generation XBox system comes out.
EDIT: So now 3 people own CivRev. We need to get a game together some time. It is slow and boring, so make sure it is over a weekend or so when you have 2-3 hours to kill.

I guess that makes me uber looser. Last year when mine error coded me (before they started fixing it for free) at the age of 30, I went and bought a new one. I did sell the broken one on craigslist for 75 dollars. So, not a total loss.

Tekken 6's Scenario Campaign mode really has me banging my head against the table. I can fight through all the guards, Nina Williams & Jin Kazama easily, But Alisa just owns me every time with her cheap, multi-hitting, unblockable freezing combo. I just gave up in the end.

OK, I just finished playing the Dante's Inferno demo. My two initial thoughts right out of the gate were obvious depending on who you are: 1) God of War. It's basically been billed as Microsoft's answer to God of War, and I must say that it's just as fun. The graphics are gorgeously grotesque and I can't wait to play the later levels to see the deformed enemies and the gargantuan bosses. 2) This is a complaint and, again, if you've played it, it's obvious: WHY THE HELL IS THE TEXT SO SMALL??? Seriously! The opening text? Couldn't read it. The subtitles? Couldn't read it. The text on the pause menu? Bitch, please. Folks, I have an ordinary plain ol' television set. I don't have a big-assed widescreen HD, and I don't know why Microsoft always-always-ALWAYS has its games have such tiny, unreadable text! Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, [PROTOTYPE]...now, this game is basically just another in a long line of games that I can play, but can't read for shit.

Though I'm 70% through #2, my gamertag was supposedly banned from auctions, and it will affect my growth in completing the game (without spending a crap ton of cash). I also just got NASCAR 09 (this looks to be fun), Burnout Paradise, and I upgraded my Forza 2 to Platinum to get the other crap at smaller finanicial lost.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, [PROTOTYPE]...now, this game is basically just another in a long line of games that I can play, but can't read for s***. Also Dead Rising had this problem. At the very least these games can still be played. I'd rather have small text, but a still playable game than a game so dark I can't see what I'm doing. And by that, I'm referring to the 360 version of the King Kong game. It REQUIRED you to have a HDTV, otherwise, the game was too dark to see any damn thing.

OK, so I've bough 3 EA games from the arcade that qualify for the deal they have (get 800 points back when you buy 3 EA products online.) How will I get the points?

And I might hit up Gamestop and see if I can find Civ Rev for cheap.
