RIP Corey. Another one gone too soon. Coroner has ruled that no illegal drugs were found and looks to be a prescription drug overdose. Something needs to be done about all these quack doctors.

Now I'm concerned that Corey Feldman won't be too far behind.
I recall an episode of The Two Coreys where Feldman absolutely loses his shit over Haim's addiction and pleads with him to get help.
RIP Corey Haim

Can't say it's a complete shock, but still a shame to once have all the potential in the world, and through the years throw it pretty much all away.
RIP, and condolences to the guy's friends and family.

Right now, I'm listening to The Dream a little Dream Soundtrack, music to one of my favorite movies ever with The Two Coreys. It just sucks that one of the most famous teen idols of the 80s is no longer with us.
R.I.P Corey...God Bless You.

So... remind me again why anyone would want to be famous?

I don't think ya can arbitrarily blame fame though. Sure it probably makes it easier to get a hold of stuff that'll f*** you up and make bad choices; but the fact remains they are 'choices'. I just think if you're apt to make horribly bad decisions, you'd make 'em regardless of being famous or not.
Which makes it all the more a shame.

Its a shame, the guy was a mess, and no matter how many people tried to help him he never seemed to want to help himself.
On a side note the guy might have been a Hollywood legend if he'd had OD'd while he was still on top, like Heath Ledger, or River Phoenix. Kinda strange how that works.

And I wouldn't put it past Vh1 to exploit emotion for an inkling of ratings. except it wasn't vh1... it was A&E, which granted doesn't have the sterling rep it used to but they do at least have a few good quality shows like Intervention and Hoarders that try to help people with problems for that fact alone i was swept up in the show and didn't want to think that it was flat out scripted (i like to look at Gene Simmon's Family Jewels the same way ) and "not for nothin' Cole"...but i will be watching License to Drive tonight to celebrate the life of the Haimster...

RIP Corey, I still love The Lost Boys, despite the fact it looks a little dated/cheesy now.

RIP Corey, I still love The Lost Boys, despite the fact it looks a little dated/cheesy now. I'll admit. I was a little disappointed that the blood didn't glitter in the sequel. Corey Feldman has made a statement on Corey Haim's death. "I was woken up at 830 AM this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me about the loss of my brother Corey. My eyes weren't even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face. I am so sorry to Corey, Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson on how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a differance. Please respect our families as we struggle and grieve through this difficult time. I hope the art he has left behind will be remembered as the passion of what he truly lived for. Corey Feldman "The Two Corey's" "
