ECW was decent for a while, back when Dreamer, Sandman, and Sabu were regulars and doing their thing. Now it's a showcase for RVD, CM Punk, and WWE has-beens. I was never expecting the old ECW, but it was a chance to see some of my old favorites along with some new blood. Now the only new person they're pushing is CM Punk, and the only original really shining is RVD. With all these WWE rejects, it feels like HeAT with the occasional ECW original popping in to say 'Hi'.

ECW is definitely worth mentioning.
Test has improved by leaps and bounds, I would say in the WWE, he is the most improved wrestler of the year without a doubt. Big Show started putting more moves in his repetroire and is trying his best to make the ECW Championship mean something.
The Sandman is entertaining as hell and fun to watch, I'm always marking for any Tommy Dreamer match (well, mostly because he normally loses, but when he wins, it's awesome). Punk is a tremendous talent, they're gonna actually push Daivari possibly, and give him something at least well deserved. Balls Mahoney is great, Sabu is great, RVD is of course one of the best out there. ECW is definitely worth mentioning.
Its sad that there's not as many originals on the show, but a lot of the main original stars of ECW. But, there's also a chance I believe that more original stars could be hired in the future, but can't really be hired now because the show is only an hour long. They need to take a few people out, like Rene Dupree. Put him on Smackdown, team him up with Sylvan after they end his feud with Jimmy Yang (and he can start a feud up with Gregory Helms), and put that Maryse chick with them. You have an extra tag team on the show, and a team that could feud with Londrick.

While SD! is easily the best wrestling show on TV, I must say I enjoy ECW. It gives another venue to elevate more stars to main event or at least mid-card status, and they realize that considering how much toll the old ECW put on the originals, they're intelligently using them to draw in fans while simultaneously building up new talent. It also has the best (perhaps only) metaplot in the WWE. It has some of the best workers on TV (Punk, Show, RVD, etc.), and in all I've found it immensely entertaining.
