Taurus 9mm semi-automatic The 24/7 model or an older Taurus? I use to own a .40 24/7 and carried it while on Duty as a Police Reserve. Pretty good quality for cheaper than a SIG or Glock.

22 Smith and Wesson pistol.
My brother, on the other hand, is a walking infantry, so whenever I feel the need to upgrade, I just borrow from him.

I may someday buy a handgun, but for the moment do not have a need for it.
Thinking of something simple along the lines of of a Glock 18 or a classic like a 1911. Just for target shooting. I'm actually a pretty good shot, growing up in the South I'm fairly certain it's like...a requirement for you to be.
Silly as it may sound, I've debated buying a pistol style taser for a while now. I do admit that it's mostly for a novelty factor since I'm a fan of "Heroes", it'd be like having a memento from "The Company" around. But y'never know, might be nice for home/vehicle defense. Just can't go around acting like you're big and bad with it, because it'll get you killed. But that's true for almost anything.

No gun, but three blades: two daggers and a machete.

No gun, but three blades: two daggers and a machete. Yeah, if we wanna go that route I do carry a Gerber "Torch" steel Tanto blade on me usually for emergency situations/if something needs to be cut. Have a few other knives. Hell, have a few "gun replica" airsoft guns. Model 1911's, Taurus PT92, I forget the model of Sig Sauer but...one of 'em, a few shotguns, and a full auto G36. But they're all in storage somewhere. And not really relevant to the topic. ...and a heavy wooden training katana, "Betsy", for smacking burglars upside the head with.* *they'd probably shoot me, but I'd still try to go all Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction.

I think it may be kind of fun to have a Taurus Judge around for novelty factor, it's not like I'm constantly running into moose, but hell you can't be TOO prepared can you?

I don't own any guns, but I did handle the following over the years (I once served in the US Army):
*Some pistols *A pump shotgun *An M-16 rifle and an M-4 carbine *An M-249 SAW *That gun that's mounted on a Humvee (forgot what it's called)
Top that!

You can mount anything from a M249, M240, M1 .50 Cal, and MK19 Grenade Launcher on a Humvee. (All of which I've shot many, many times.) If we're talking Military, I've also fired an M9, M4, M14, Mausburg Breaching Shotguns, M16A4, Barrett .50 Cal, and M24 among various "enemy" weapons including the AK, RPD, RPK, RPG 7, and a shit ton of pistols/assualt rifles. Oh, and I was a Javelin Instructor with 3 live fire missiles in Iraq, and 2 in training. That's over $250,000 worth of Anti-Tank goodness. (Though the 3 live fires was blowing up buildings, not tanks, of course.)

Never. I don't plan on owning a handgun, and I don't like hunting either.
And yes, I'm just posting here for the irony that my username is "Firearm" and I hate guns. (My name is more of an "arm on fire" thing. ;D)

Only own two guns, both family herilooms. I've got an old double barrel shotgun that originally belonged to my great-great-grandfather, and from my mother's side of the family a Civil War era Colt revolver.
When I was with the Sheriff's Office, we had the 40/46 Smith, which I absolutely hated. Heavy, awkward, jammed all the time.
I'm more of an edge weapon guy myself, and never leave the house without one. My every day choice is either an older Cold Steel folder that just fits my hand great or, more rarely since it's illegal to carry most places, a custom made automatic.

I used to have the gun that came with Duck Hunt does that count? No gun, but three blades: two daggers and a machete. I have a switchblade knife that I actually found when working at a movie theater while I was cleaning it.

Personally I don't,but we do have one in the house. Some sort of rifle, don't think we have any bullets for it,and if we did it probably would blow up because I don't think its been fired in this century. I have two swords though, a short sword: and a cutlass: I got them at Renaissance Faire's.

Guns are illegal around here except a hunting gun but you need a license for it.

I'm fairly certain our household owns quite a few hunting rifles but I have no idea on the model type. I know we have an old automatic Ruger rifle somewhere, probably illegal. And I think we have a Beretta handgun locked up in a case. None of them are mine and I'm certain they haven't been fired in years.

Smith and Wesson .40 cal sigma series I have one of those. Trigger pull is terrible. Throws my aim off. When I got my Concealed Handgun License I bought a compact Springfield XD .40 cal. Trigger pull is about a third the weight, and it kicks less, so I shoot a whole lot better with it. Hell, I'm going to the range tonight with it.

I own a Mossberg 500 that was bought for me when I was in the fifth grade as my pheasant hunting gun, and have been contemplating buying a revolver of some nature (easier to clean, easier to maintain, generally a less complicated machine than a semi-automatic pistol) for home defense and sport shooting. I've never shot a pistol, though, but I'm a helluva shot at trap with a shotgun anymore.
I understand people's particular disagreement with firearms, however, and will never pressure people to own one. I will state that I believe they should get at least rudimentary training in them for their own personal safety and the safety of their loved ones, so if some sort of bad thing happens, and the bad guy puts the gun down, they can be qualified enough to clear the chamber and engage the safety, or, if they choose, use that weapon to open fire. The reality of the situation is that guns aren't going away, and unfortunately, many use them for nefarious purposes. If you're in that situation, at least a bit of training would increase (even if by a small amount) your chance of surviving it or avoiding great harm.
EDIT: Oh, and Wyoming is an open carry state, and looking to change their concealed carry laws right now in the legislature so that if you're not a convicted felon or otherwise ineligible to own, purchase, or otherwise possess a firearm, you wouldn't need a permit. Not sure how I feel about that, but I had a helluva time one night telling the cops when they came in to do a bar check and I was on the door, that they needed "check their irons." The hilarious thing was that they didn't realize that an officer of the peace is about the only person that can carry a firearm into a dispensing room in Wyoming, so they did.
Oh well. Live and learn, I suppose.

I have a switchblade knife that I actually found when working at a movie theater while I was cleaning it. Be careful with that. If it's an honest-to-goodness switchblade, you're not supposed to own it virtually anywhere. I think you need a collector's permit in some places, or some other such legal hurdle.
