Good start, but I think WWE would like it to do better over the next few weeks to keep it from sinking to ECW's levels.

Considering the amount of star power on that show... I can't see this being a good thing.

So, Bryan Danielson is a bigger ratings draw than Hulk Hogan?

Bryan Danielson is a bigger ratings draw than Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair combined.

I am not surprised to see a low rating for the first show due to many people, myself included, who thought this show was going to be a RAW-like abortion. I expect either this show or the show after to receive a rating in the high 1s or low 2s.

Bryan Danielson is a bigger ratings draw than Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair combined. That's a fairly preposterous analysis. Unless you guys are just amusing yourselves at Hogan's expense in which case, fair play.

Unless you guys are just amusing yourselves at Hogan's expense in which case, fair play. I think this is more about prestige and marketing. Vince McMahon is a marketing genius and TNA appears to the casual fan to be bush league compared to WWE.

NXT rating: 1.3 iMPACT rating: 1.2
Therefor
Bryan Danielson on the show > Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair on the show
Therefor
Bryan Danielson is a bigger ratings draw than Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair combined.
Math is fun! XD

About what I expected. WWE didn't exactly do a lot of hype for the show and, on paper, the concept really wasn't very good.
Still, with how great that first show was, I really hope it goes up.

Plus, it's on SyFy. That's a big handicap to overcome.

Plus, it's on SyFy. That's a big handicap to overcome. Exactly. I never liked the fact that ECW was on SyFy (or SciFi at the time), and now NXT is going to suffer the same fate.

SyFy is not a good channel for this show... If it was on a real cable network, it'd be in good shape. I had DVR'd it because I was out last night. I was really glad with what I saw. It was a damn entertaining show.

I was expecting a bump since they hyped NXT to the moon, plus all the additional star power on the show. I'd be interested to know if the quarter hours show if the audience grew or shrank throughout the show.
