Well, it's not codes per se, but there was some crazy amazing mods people had done to No mercy by using the Gameshark. Newly skinned outfits, new moves, and the replacement of weapons (so long giant Rock book, hello barbed wire covered chair!) It was a fascinating time, and what really got me into simming matches and feds. Not only was that stuff awesome, but the Gameshark in general for N64 was just a lot of fun to screw with games. There were so many janky, broken things you could mess around with that, while totally stupid, led to a lot of fun. Example: put a Hell in a Cell around the ring in WM2000. So funny to see wrestlers clip through the top of it during a finisher or something.

A few I remember for No Mercy involved things like turning a particular move in the corner into either a top-rope C2 or a Pepsi Plunge, and a thing that made the cage make explosion noises when people bumped into it. Oh, and one that made it so that when people did a running attack with a chair, it used the animation for one with a belt so that it looked more like the way Shane always did it.

My brother's best friend swore to me that if I won every single title with Raven on WCW/nWo Revenge, that it would unlock the Sandman.
He later told me that he just read it on the internet, and I've been bitter ever since.

I remember the gullible days at school, when I was told if you do 35 seasons on Smackdown 2, you unlock Hulk Hogan & Jeff Jarrett. With Jarrett it was kind of pointless since you could of easily created him using the now defunct simplistic CAW in that game.

i remember one of those horrid RAW games for xbox where the storylines were repeated insanity if you finish like 10 you get mick foley....that game got burned after i finished 10! I believe this is Raw 2. Yeah, it's insane. The CAW depth is the only positive about this game. I actually think its biggest positive is the way that career mode is set up. It's damn near perfect, and I wish SvR would do something like it. I'm tired of the canned Road to Wrestlemania stories. They're fun once, but that's it. I prefer when a wrestling game is set up more like Madden or other sports games, where I can just take a wrestler, whether CAW or already in the game, though a huge career without ever really having to stop, moving up and down the ranks, etc. It's just too bad the gameplay in Raw 2 was pretty awful. I tolerated it for awhile because I loved the career mode so much, but the gameplay really was so bad.

I mainly remember that supposedly backstage in No Mercy if you threw an opponent into certain switches on the wall it would open other rooms and areas to fight in. Someone had even used a GameShark or something to put DX logos all over the locker room and made a screen capture claiming that it was proof that there was a hidden DX locker room.

I remember someone telling me if you won the season mode on No Mercy doing something I forgot. I think it was the 100 years thing or something like that. You unlock the Warrior.
