I'm very disappointed with the way WWE are using him. He's got tons of talent and should have won the Intercontinental Championship last year from Rey Mysterio. Sadly, John Morrison bucked in and took his opportunity and to make matters worse, the Party Pooper then bucks in and takes his opportunity again. Ziggler has more talent than both of them, in my eyes. And has a certain color about him that makes him stand out more to the rest of the guys in the company. I don't know what it is, but he seems like a huge breath of fresh air.
WWE is all about finding the guys with the "total package", yet this guy has the total package and they haven't pulled the plug on him yet. I don't get it... in-ring skills, mic skills, good looking, a good entrance theme, is over and has a great moveset. What does Drew McIntyre have, that he doesn't?
And I don't mean Triple H's gym bags either! ;D

Yeah, I'm confused by his lack of a push as well.

Yeah, I'm confused by his lack of a push as well. Complain to Rey, who pretty much single-handedly derailed it.

I want a tentative, ready to explode Ziggler/McIntyre coalition, and I want it now.

The company seems to be cautious about overpushing its younger talent (younger meaning, "under 30"). They also aborted Kofi's and Swagger's pushes as well.
Might be because they're trying to avoid making any more Lesnar- or Orton-style primma donnas backstage.
Ziggler's injury history is a little worrisome but he's otherwise a young guy who will hopefully make the most of things if he gets another shot at the limelight.

They don't really like doing midcard feuds that aren't for a title.
For them to give Ziggler action in their current system it has to be building towards him challenging for the IC title. Since Drew has the title they can't really do that right now.
When the IC title is held by a face again, you'll probably see more of Ziggler...even if he isn't directly challenging for the IC title immediately.
Same deal as MVP really, who they goofed around with for a while until Miz was firmly established as the US champ.

If they don't feel like doing feuds that aren't for a title, send Swagger to Smackdown, make them a tag team, and have them go for the titles together.

Very underrated.
He seems to have unlimited potential. His ring work is crisp and he's decent on the mic (even though his promo on Patterson at Breaking Point was cringe worthy). I guess they're still waiting for him to hit that next level before deciding to push him again.
I also agree that Rey has helped bring his push to a screeching hault. He probably would have won the IC title at Breaking Point and then go on to defend it against Morrison.

First of all I want to say that Dolph Ziggler impressed me so much that I have forgiven him for being a male cheerleader and a golf caddy. When Kenny Dystra broke away from the Spirit Squad, I still hated him and could not get the memories of The Spirit Squad out of my head.
When Rey Mysterio got suspended, I thought that Dolph Ziggler would get the IC Title and John Morrison would continue to be pushed towards being a main eventer. I noticed WWE does not like to push more than one wrestler because John Morrisdon won the title and became a midcarder again while Dolph Ziggler eventually got buried.

It's not so much Morrison winning it over Zigger that was perplexing. I'm just still trying to understand how "Punch-Only" Drew McIntyre ended up with the belt.
Talk about a downgrade.

Wrestling experience outside of the United States. It easy to get that when your born outside the USA. The guy is the last surviving member of an all male cheerleader group,he deserves some kind of reward.

Sometimes a midcarder is a midcarder. Not a guy being built up to be a future star. Nor a guy being buried to keep the established main eventers looking dominant. Just a midcarder.

Sometimes a midcarder is a midcarder. Not a guy being built up to be a future star. Nor a guy being buried to keep the established main eventers looking dominant. Just a midcarder. And sometimes a wrestling show only has 8-10 quarter-hours per week of television to further its angles, and thus the booker and/or creative team have to cycle talent into and out of featured programs. Given the marketing focus of the wrestling industry, this cycle has the greatest effect on younger talents who are not yet "draws." Perhaps WWE felt that Dolph Ziggler, who had a very strong post-draft 2009 in feuds with The Great Khali, Rey Mysterio and John Morrison, would be lost in the shuffle of CM Punk's heel turn, the continued ascent of Jeff Hardy, the return of The Undertaker, and the planned run of Edge and Jericho. His relationship with Maria also seemed to work in the short term, though it was aborted too soon and is now long-forgotten. Obviously, there is some notion that unlike Drew, Dolph doesn't have the super-dooper-star pedigree that WWE likes. But he clearly can be more than a "solid hand" (read: jtts).
