How great would it be if HBK was off TV for a month, then returned with another man who just quit, his old nemesis, JBL?

OK, here's the Kane story...
Around the time of WrestleMania 24, a lot of people here were coming up with ideas of how to retire Ric Flair. To make a long story short, someone came up with a story that involved Kane defeating Ric Flair, then burning his clothes in a dumpster. This somehow would allow Kane to absorb Flair's powers. Flair, presumably, would leave the arena naked, never to be seen again.

Sounds like an average week on Nitro in 2000.

Its the end of Shawn Michael's career. But next week its the beginning of the masked Midnight Heartbreaker's career. No, it'll be the debut of a mysterious masked wrestler from Japan, known only as Sexy Machine.

The SCM to T-Lo was great, but Carlito made that segment. Background shenanigans are always good for a laugh. And, hypothetically, if that was the end for HBK, company-wide match quality goes down by a staggering 34%. This end of DX segment was great!

Plain and simple Shawn Michaels is the main reason I watch Raw these days, the past month of so him and the storyline and the way he's done it has carried that show IMO, kudos to the man who is my favorite of all time.

It was funny to see both Bret and Shawn snap on the same show. It was like 97 all over again.

It would be kinda funny if we never see HBK again and that was that.

I just want to say Carlito has the best job in the world. He gets to lounge around backstage, hitting on all the Divas he wants to, have fun with all the guest hosts, unlimited apples, its a dream job. He also gets to stand around and point and laugh while all the cool stuff is happening, all while being paid handsomely. With that said, we should never see him again, but Kane shows up next week with a receipt for a suit, HBK's old clothes in a dumpster and lights them on fire and absorbs HBK's powers to obtain his green DX mask and tights. Will someone explain all these suit references. Especially in regards to handing one to Kane or buring something in a trash can... I don't get the joke, and clearly there's SOMETHING to it.

Flair wouldn't leave naked, Kane would give him a business suit. You're right, my bad. Quoted for the benefit of Dirty Hazy EDIT: Goddamnit, the quoting system cut off the explanation, here it is: OK, here's the Kane story...

No, it's Kane defeats Flair, strips him of his ring gear (he's wearing underwear under his trunks), pulls a trash can from under the ring, burns Flair's ring gear, absorbs his powers, and hands Flair a suit. Sorry, I'm kinda the keeper of the flame for that story. (And also for "Snitsky is an option in every poll")

I can't believe it hasn't been said yet...
"That's Michael Hickenbottom... but what is he doing in the Impact Zone?!?"

I can't believe it hasn't been said yet... "That's Michael Hickenbottom... but what is he doing in the Impact Zone?!?" Where he jumps from obsessing over defeating The Undertaker to obsessing over defeating Hulk Hogan.

What if...... he took the rest of the 40-50 year old elderlies with him who keep hogging up tv time with their unfunny comedy skits or their little drama queen episodes and kick themselves out the door (triple h, shawn, taker etc)
Lets look it in perspective. You have a ton of new talent just standing in line, dying to get over and make careers for themselves either in the lower-mid card or even in ROH or TNA who may be wanting to come to the WWE and showcase their talents on a national level yet will never get the chance too cause these damn 40-50 years olds way passed their prime are still in and around the top getting all the airtime so they can do comedy skits or try to relive their glory days 10-15 years ago.. GIVE IT UP!!!! Especially if Triple H for instance wants to run the business? Does he want to be Verne Gagne? Dominate in his territory while owning it into his 50s? I think its time for most of the guys to go and take off camera roles and get the new future ready.
And people wonder why Vince has had a hell of time creating new legit big time stars over the last 5-10 years

Its the end of Shawn Michael's career. But next week its the beginning of the masked Midnight Heartbreaker's career. Or Professor Michael Higgenbottom and his Fantasmagorical Emporium and Wrestling Show! A weekly show he does, disguised and goading the Undertaker to give him a match at Wrestlemania.
