Triple H used King of Kings mainly when coming out for promos, and always used The Game for matches.
Big Show would probably have something to do with music rights if I had to guess.
Though Regal's is completly different,

Or maybe they could let you shoot in this game and injure your opponent. That would be funny. Pick Bob Holly and cripple the entire roster.

Any word on the CAW numbers? Any new moves? (Last I posted, mum was the word on any CAW activity but since you guys seem to have all of the inside poop, thought I'd ask.)
And does RVD's frog splash actually f***ing work with this new version?!

"Shoot" mode would be hilarious. I've wanted to see stuff like that forever
Sorry, no real CAW details yet.
I'm gonna guess that the Frog Splash will work this time (Unless it is countered, I mean, they'll stay down long enough for it to connect) based off my time playing this so far, if the opponent is hurt enough they will stay down long enough. Granted I've only played as HHH or Kane but I've connected with several diving moves.

They never stay down and no-sell everything on these Smackdown Games. Not every match should feel like a frantic cruiserweight match.

The computer rarely did it, if ever. I just wanted to experiment with every move in every situation, and the demo only had those two characters.

I was kidding I just wish they could balance it. Smackdown needs to calm down.

the ref sure used to stay down. Even if it was a wrestler on the active roster, goodnight.

the ref sure used to stay down. Even if it was a wrestler on the active roster, goodnight. My main problem with the ref is once he gets up, he counts normally. For instance, one match I was playing as Kane vs HHH, and I accidentally clothesline the ref, then immediately turn around and chokeslam Hunter. I go for the pin, 20 seconds or so later the ref gets up, counts a regular 1 2 3 and I win. I wanted Hunter to kick out. I dont really care if I win or lose as long as its a good, realistic match. Anyone remember the game (either SYM or HCTP) where the ref would literally REVERSE any move you tried to hit him with? That was horrible.

I think that was HCTP, but that's nowhere near as bad as 2006's ref, who needed to stand a whole TWO F'N INCHES from the wrestlers and constantly got unintentionally hit with striking attacks then DQ you because he was too damned stupid to get out of the way.

LOL oh yeah. I used that to my advantage a few times online though, for idiots that just kept trying to do nothing but the unblockable Spike Dudley Headbutt to the gut on me....just stand behind the ref and they'll hit him enough and get DQed lol

That's why I love doing stuff with No DQs since I usually beat the crap out of the ref and hit a finisher on him. Relieves stress.

Actually I'm finding that having no DQ is something that needs to be done because when a heel wants to use a chair at the end of the match, he damn well will be using that chair. It got so ridiculous that when I played tag matches with my friend, whoever wasn't legal at first went and grabbed every weapon from under the ring and would run it up the rampway and drop it on the furthest point away from the stage so what happens...
THE COMPUTER WALKS ALL THE WAY UP THE RAMP TO GRAB THE CHAIR AND THEN PROCEEDS TO GET COUNTED OUT BECAUSE HE TOOK TO LONG TO GET IT!

I'd have to save the CPU's ass on several occasions by entering/leaving the ring to break the count, or hitting a running grapple to block their chairshot

I'd have to save the computer from getting counted out a lot too. I didn't mind the whole heel goes for the weapon thing the first few times, but it got to the point where he was so obsessed with getting the chair that he would never stay in the ring. The second he was on his feet "Oops, need the chair" and I could get in free shots because apparently it's more imoportant than protecting his face.
They need to tweak it so that if the chair thing doesn't work he at least tries to fend you off. And one other thing that bothers me, is low blows happen ALL THE time which is blatantly illegal and it sort of takes you out of the "real life" experience when a ref just stands there while you take blows to the nuts not only with regular moves, but as a counter to ground grapples. I especially hate the ground grapple reversal one because you roll around on the mat for a good 10 seconds before you can do anything.

Yeah it makes no sense to see guys like face Hulk Hogan doing low blows, and also takes away from the low blow grapple moves, and the "super dirty" moves which make no sense, since you make no move to distract or eliminate the referee before blatantly kicking someone in the jimmy right in front of him.

I cannot stand cheaters online. The ones who pick like the headbut to the stomach that cant be reversed, the Hulk Up thing and they do it all the time, and really fast punches so they can hit them then get a quick grapple. Then it gets even worse and people hack and get finishers as regular moves.
You dont get a game to WIN, you get it to PLAY. Dont cheat and pick the moves that you really want. What kinda person actually cares so much about an online record that they decide they have to get a gameshark and work the glithces in the game to win...
...cheaters online are a bunch of bitches...

Actually, there are a lot of things I hated about the referee this year. For one he was WAAAY too slow to get into position to make the count. Not only that but just about EVERYTHING was more important to the match than you pinning someone.
For example: Tag match, the ref get knocked out by a guy on the other team by accident. I hit my finisher on the legal guy while my partner got rid of the other man. After the referee finally got up what does he do? He stands there yelling and pointing at the guy getting his ass kicked outside the ring while I'm pinning the guy and by the time he actually gets down to make the count my opponent has kicked out.
Also, apparently count outs are more important than a pin as the ref will not break the count in order to go make the pin count. Or submissions, if a legal man is in a submission hold while your trying to pin another legal man, the ref won't even bother going to make the count. he referee was way too much of a bother this year.
