We're running Windows 7 at work, and it goes large like that, Chyno, just double click on the title bar or the minimize button.
I often have to run 5-8 windows at a time for the job, so I've gotten used to it. I'm sure there's gotta be a way to turnoff the auto-maximize.

I'm having as many problems with Windows 7 as I did with Vista. Which, much to my surprise, is very few.

Funny. I haven't had a single issue since I installed it, nothing but good things.

Are you running 7 on a laptop per chance? Because that would explain the cursor popping you back into the middle of your sentence issue. I have the same issue, but it is one I also had with Vista so it is more my laptop than anything.

I've had the same problems that the OP mentioned, but usually it's when using Google Chrome. GC runs like straight ass on Windows 7 for me. It also does this annoying thing in which everything I do is delayed for about two seconds....gets on my nerves.

I'm not sure what the cause of that would be.

I'm using it on a laptop that already had it preloaded with Windows 7...I wonder if that's the reason why it sucks hard?

I am using Chrome on my HP Laptop and having no problems. Though I installed it myself. You may try uninstalling it and installing a new version.

Are you on a laptop? Try going to Control Panel>Mouse. Look for "Disable Tapping while Typing" or "Disable Mouse/Touchpad while Typing" or something to that effect (may be a "Tapping" tab for you to look under).

I'd follow Ric's advice and reinstall it yourself and see if that helps.

Bob, the problem you're having is a cursor problem, not a Windows problem. And if it's not a laptop, it sounds like something is wrong with your mouse.

If disabling tapping doesn't do it, you may want to update your driver by downloading it from the manufacturer...drivers can get fudged up when upgrading your OS. Oh, and for those having browser issues...try resetting the browser (not just clearing the temp files).

I won't update my Windows system until my bud who works with computers tells me that all the bugs have been worked out. Microsoft regularly rolls out new operating systems that take a year or so to get the bugs out of. It's the way of Bill Gates.
