At the start of the level. Does this mean before the match was over you started chucking grenades at random? No... Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had a LOT of people just tossing grenades at the very beginning of the game as soon as you spawned. Once you had the trajectory down, a map like the Ship level in that game was going to be grenaded like crazy. Also, from what I read, COD4 was the first game where frag grenades were actually implemented, so maybe that could be why it's a pretty hit or miss thing. Frag grenades have been in the CoD series since at LEAST CoD2, if not since the first game.

Well, you can shoot off an M203 just as quick as a handgun. It's attached to below the barrel of the rifle and has a normal trigger design just like a rifle...just gotta aim up and pull the trigger. They could make it longer by making you aim down the irons. In real life now way in hell could hit anything that well by hip firing it. That is why I prefer BF:BC2 more. No knife lunge and hardly anyone uses 40mm's, usually only for breaching walls (at least I do). Call of Duty isn't exactly the prime example of "real life" For one thing, a REAL M203 round needs to travel about 25 meters and rotate a certain number of times before it will even explode...COD grenade rounds have about a 5 meter arming distance. Also, the blast radious is a lot larger in real life....so COD 203 launches ten feet in front of you are impossible, and incredibly unrealistic in real life. And as far as hip firing and accuracy...the M203 has two different sights....the ladder or "leaf" sight on the top, which is crude and is basically am "am and fire" which could be done from the hip and still get the same results....and the quadrant sight, which is on the side and is much more complex, yet more accurate. So, in conclusion, COD is a fake video game and "real life" shouldn't be taken into account. Source: Me. On an M203 range. Using an M203 mounted on an M4. With 5 years of weapons training in the Army Infantry.

I just read that on a COD Fansite/Wiki entry thing.

Yes, they did -- but the leads from Medal of Honor: Allied Assault are the ones that came on board to help create COD4: Modern Warfare... rebuilding the game engine and bringing us to where we are today. The first Call of Duty's were playable, and sure they utilized the Quake III engine, but they were no where near as fun as what we have now.

The only experience I've had is reading manuals & textbooks and firing Shotguns and Handguns, so I only know the basic stuff & I more concentrate on British Armaments like the SA80.

Are you also saying that if I just hide for a while in war the strawberry jam on my face would disappear? Which is why you eat toast with your mouth, not your face. Nonsense.

I've never done any of that grenade spamming - honestly, I don't really know what it is. And the Golden Spike... sucks at that game. Great fun, though.
