I've seen Hogan on Robot Chicken before and it seems that they credit him as doing his voice.... does he really?

Yes, it was the real Hogan and Piper.
Hogan did a brief spot on another past episode as well, appearing as himself in a "Hogan Knows Best" skit asking his family to pass the peas, brother.
