My brother's a big fan of them. Personally, they're ok in my book. It's just not fashionable to admit that you like them. I give them credit for sticking to what they've known all these years.

I get it. They've secretly become spokesmen for Wizards of the Coast and are subliminally shilling Magic: The Gathering. Brilliant. Well, not to give any haters more fodder, but, they did have their own D&D like RPG a few years ago called Morton's List. They had to discontinue it though, cuz, as Violent J said, "it taught you how to make your own bomb"

I hate to triple post, but this YouTube comment warrants attention: "This song raises some good points. There IS magic everywhere in this b***h. I personally think we'll never know how f***in magnets work. There's just some things mankind wasn't meant to know." I'm laughing so hard I'm crying over that comment.

I'd be interested to know the percentage of how many things mentioned in the song are actually unexplained Miracles.
I wonder if "Miracles" contains a higher percentage of things that are actually miracles than the Alanis Morisette song "Ironic" contains examples of things that are actually irony.
In seriousness though, it's good to see ICP are still around. Obviously they did something right. I haven't listened to them since Great Milenko, but I did used to like their stuff.

"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." -- Albert Einstein
While the generic response is to scream "science!", the I.C.P. may be closer to the latter in the above quote, where the whole of existence is looked at as a miracle. That's my personal stance and, in my opinion, the only stance a logical person can take. From this viewpoint science itself is a miracle, a product of the underlying comprehensibility of the universe and the rational human mind that explores it.

I'd buy that... and for the most part I do believe that's what their saying (like when talking about their children). But the line "f***in Magnets... how do they work?" doesn't just imply seeing things as just a miracle, but more or less a pure sign of ignorance. Not to mention that I think the real miracle would be if they didn't use the word bitch or f***er every other word. It would be a lot easier to take what they're trying to say seriously that way. The way they say it as is, it sounds like a joke amongst buddies.

I see where you're coming from, but the ultimate flaw with this logic is that Albert Einstein was a scientist, therefore any stance he takes is one that will get me pissed as he is a mutha-f***ing liar.

For F***'s sake someone explain to them that miracles are when things shouldn't happen but do. It's an occurrence that defies probabilities. You know what else, in the course of your life you are supposed to encounter on average one "miracle" every 30 days or so. That's the bizarre nature of probability. Magnets are not miracles. Passing out before the hooker leaves and not having your wallet stolen IS a miracle.

It definitely would be a miracle if ICP saw 85 thousand people all in one room.....
....unless they were in the crowd!
(rimshot)
Seriously, I "get" where they were going or trying to go with this, but it comes out like a 3rd grader's essay on the subject. Only with more cussing and disdain for the scientific community.
