I say yes, I didn't use to think so but the more of her I see (and this video is on all the damn time) I really find her attractive, even though I don't see her as rap, but rather pop. What do you guys think?

That "music" is nigh unlistenable, but yes, she's quite hot.

I'm on the fence. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. She, however, must never talk, ever.

What the hell is with this sudden "I like to dress, act and sing weird for attention" outbreak lately?

What the hell is with this sudden "I like to dress, act and sing weird for attention" outbreak lately? Lady GaGa Syndrome is what I call it, people now see that being a little bit out there is marketable and they want to jump on it while it's still hot. I for one get tired of musicians all looking the same (in the sense of basic t-shirt and jeans) so I'm all for this new movement.

This happens once every couple of years, where the music scene becomes so bland that someone with a weird look changes up the whole scene. David Bowie, for example. And there was lots of this in the 80's as well, coming off the heels of years of terrible disco. Not comparing GaGa to Bowie, by the way. She's got a a micro fraction of his talent and still comes across as someone trying too hard to be interesting rather than someone that's actually interesting. But that's the pattern.

What the hell is with this sudden "I like to dress, act and sing weird for attention" outbreak lately? Exactly the first thing I thought was a rapping, black Lady Gaga. In certain shots she looked good, but I couldn't concentration. Seriously WTF was that song? Please don't tell me that was in any way a hit. I'll suffer pretty much any mainstream song, since they're at worst catchy... but that was in no way redeeming.

I think it is a hit actually, granted it's only been out a few months (the video anyway) but she's signed to Lil Wayne's record label, and if Drake is any indication as to what happens when Wayne is backing you she'll be huge.

Nicki Minaj has also been in at least one song with Ludacris and in a song with Young Money.
