My mother would listen to This Woman's Work by Kate Bush all the time and now its been drilled into my brain.
Also embarrassed to admit that I like the song Magic by Mick Smiley because it is in the Ghost Busters movie. And it's a horribly dated song.
And the theme song for Miami Vice is pretty catchy and a little soothing.
Also enjoy Katy Perry and Enya

Ke$ha and Lady Gaga only I don't mind if people know that I like Lady Gaga because she is becoming one of the biggest musical acts in a very very long time. She is doing to pop what Eminem did to hip hop ten years ago.
I draw the line at Justin Bieber. I can't stand him. Sure he is a good singer but I just hate that R&B mixed with pop music. He seems very similar to Justin Timberlake who I don't think is bad but just never liked his music.

For music from the last 20 years I go cheesy for Avril Lavigne and Milli Vanilli
For older music try out Ruth Wallis.

Hey the guys who sang Milli Vanilli songs were good.
Lump me in the not guilty category, I was a bit snobbish about Lady Gaga and Kei$ha, then I looked on my ipod and remembered I love jamming to What is love, Mr. Vain, all that old school dance music, so I can't exactly take musical high ground, if a song rocks it rocks.

Hey the guys who sang Milli Vanilli songs were good. So were Rob and Fab. I've even listened to Fab's solo stuff and it's quite good. It's just the damn manager was money-hungry and wouldn't give them a chance. They wanted to sing the whole time and he just said "no".
