You should totally dress up like Andrew WK and see what happens.

Only thing worth seeing at that show is Necro and Coolio. Necro only does like 6-7 tracks... Who's ya daddy, and a few tracks from Brutality pt. 2 Coolio... well.... his hype men do more performing of his songs than he does.

From what I've always heard it's a great show.
To say ICP isn't my cup of tea is an understatement; but I find the people who bash them and their fans with the same tired jokes and stereotypes WAAAY more irritating than the Juggalo's or ICP could ever be.
I mean..it's easy enough stuff to ignore. I just wish more people would concentrate on what they do like instead of pissing on everything they don't.

I'm jealous. Kittie are on that tour and they're one of my all time favourites. Add to that as a fan of Harley Quinn the idea of being around a crowd of women in clown makeup sounds like a bloody good idea to me. Also, is it just me or does the blonde one remind you of Jigsaw from the Saw series?

Prepare to quite possibly have fun. I've never seen fans of any band get as into concerts as Juggalos do. They're basically the equivalent of what ECW or ROH fans are in wrestling. They're loud, the do chants, they sing the songs louder than ICP, they get a little rowdy at times, and they're some of the most hideous people you will ever see.
Also line your car seats with towels because you'll be soaked most likely when you exit, even if you're in the back.

Wow that's actually really, really cool! Yeah, a lot of people (myself included) were getting their wallets out and the guy told us to put them away since he had an extra one anyway. Well they were probably getting their wallets out for another reason. At one of the shows I was at.....as that "FAMILY" chant was going on at the end of the show, I waited in line to buy a t-shirt for a girl I know who likes them. The guy 2-3 spots in front of me in line stops and goes "......Somebody stole my wallet!" and runs off. The 2 guys in front of me standing next to each other in line looked at each other and said "Family! Psh"

So, no matter where I stand, I'm getting sprayed with Faygo? Pretty much. But don't worry, it's fine. I went to a show with ICP, Kottonmouth Kings, Tech N9ne, and Bone Thugs n Harmony. Let me tell ya, I've been to a lot of concerts, but that one was way up there on the fun list. Just swaying in a group of people getting covered with Faygo and watching the stage show ... It's a fun time. The trip to my first ICP show was fairly entertaining. We had decided to break the law and suck down beers on the way to the stadium. And unbeknownst to us, there was a detour that led us by The HHH Metrodome, and the construction there had us down to 2 lanes. So we're sitting there with open containers and ICP just cranked and a traffic cop comes walking up. I'm sitting in the passenger side seat and I see her coming, and I turn and look to the driver and he's got a scared look on his face because there is no place to toss the cans. So we just shrug and turn down the music and get prepared to pay several hundred dollars in fines. But the cop walked up, poked her head in our window, said, "No, turn it up!" and stepped back. So me and the driver give each other a look and shrug and crank the tunes back up. She walked away and we went on our merry way. But really what you must be prepared for is the same thing you have to be prepared for at every concert you go to. A few people are assholes and may have to be hauled away for causing trouble, but the rest of the people are there to get together and have a good time. You'll be fine. And I'm jealous. The last time I wanted to go to a show my plans got scuttled.

Yeah, I took a f***ing faygo cannon shot directly to the face. I went years ago with a friend who swore I would love ICP if i just saw them live. Well, that didn't happen. There were alot of topless white trash girls running around tho, so that was a plus. And so many douche bags in clown make up that I couldn't help but laugh. There is something so funny about stocky skin head looking guys walking around trying to look so tough while wearing clown make up. Not everyone there was like that though.
I actually enjoyed Twiztid. I think they are alot more talented than ICP. Of course their entire stage show consisted of a guy dressed as Michael Myers and a guy dressed as Jason dancing with axes while Twiztid rapped. It was pretty fun in retrospect. Plus I clotheslined a Juggalos head off when he got a little too active in the mosh pit. I'm still confused how there was a mosh pit at a rap show...

Wow, you're show was a lot more wild than the ones I've been to. But you are right, Twiztid is a better band. I got an album of theirs completely by chance named Mostasteless (I think) and after listening to it, I was like, "Why haven't I heard of these guys before?" Boondox is pretty good stuff as well.

Also, the Juggalos are closer than pretty much any other fanbase, calling each other "family." Last ICP show I went to, a guy and his gf drove 3 hours to the show but she forgot her ticket and never been to one of their shows before and they didn't have the cash to get another ticket and appealed to the line. Somebody had an extra ticket and just flat out gave it to them as a "Family" chant broke out. You wouldn't see that at any other show. Pearl Jam fans or the "Jamily" would like a word with you.

Also, is there a way to just chill in the back and avoid the claustrophobic pits and mosh pit physical contact or does the whole thing explode in a mass of bodies?

When some one starts talking to you about their hatchet, just nod politely and don't point out that it's really just a meat cleaver.

So the concert is Thursday, I leave for it tomorrow. Any last minute advice? If I want to just talk to the Juggalos, should I just approach with a cordial "hey man," or should I attempt to adopt the dialect and be all "whut up ninja?" I want to get a genuine dialogue with respect the the surrounds, but don't want to come across as a juggahoe, ya dig?

Oh hi Mark, it's Chaz again. You probably remember me from the "Miracles" thread ( officialfan.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=offtopic&action=display&thread=278322 ) and this article I wrote on ABC Nightline's expose that claimed ICP's music causes death ( popularopinions.wordpress.com/2010/03/12/juggalo/ ) Well, after a years-long fascination with Juggalo culture, I've decided (as an act of Gonza journalism) to attend an upcoming ICP show that features (no joke) Coolio, Kittie, Necro, Kottonmouth Kings and Juggalo Champions*** Wrestling. It's a stadium show and I want to report on the Juggalo in its natural habitat first hands. So to the Juggalos, ICP fans, or Dark Carnival veterans, what should I prepare for? There's not much to prepare for really. ICP concerts are pretty similar to metal concerts. Loud and full of energy. Here's a few pointers though. Don't wear something that you're worried about getting ruined. Lots of faygo will be flying. Be cautious of your belongings. Lock your car, and make sure not to leave anything that would entice somebody to break your window to get. This includes money, jewelry, CD's, clothes, or anything that looks like it may have something in it. Most juggalos are decent people, but there's usually people at these shows that seem to be there just to steal stuff. Edit: Yeah, don't put references to that sort of thing here on WC, please. Removed. -Brad

I'm not a huge fan of theirs(never really liked their music, just not hard enough for me i guess) but I do like that they brought horrorcore hip hop into the mainstream. They were a huge influence to Tech N9ne.
I would love to see one of their shows sometime.
Coolio touring with them sounds awesome. Does he do Gangstas Paradise? That would be reason enough to see their show.
It's too bad Coolio has fallen this much when you think about it. He was on the level of Tupac back in 1995 and now he is opening up for ICP. I've heard is most likely because he has a huge drug problem which I don't doubt. The pictures of him now a days aren't too flattering. I know he is older but damn.
