He's a damn prostituting whore.
I've lost all respect for Ric Flair...the man....that I ever had.
When he left WWE....that should of been it. Go home and live out your days. Be done with wrestling forever.
Everything he's done since leaving WWE has just been bad.

Flair is a hypocrite but he also needs to make a living, and as JR said in his recent blog, he has wrestling in his blood. For any fan to expect him to fade away quietly is just moronic. Way I figure it is if JR seems to harbor no resentment towards 'Naitch, the fans shouldn't get their panties in such a bunch. Especially considering how unlikely it is that he will actually wrestle.

I thought Flair lost his credibility long before last Monday night:
1) When he shot on Vince McMahon on the final WCW Nitro... he said how great WCW was... then he shows up on Raw to work for Vince a few months later
2) After his retirement match at Wrestlemania, he shows up on Raw a few weeks later for a parking lot street fight... just to bump Raw's rating a half a point
On the other hand, retirements really have never meant squat. Remember when Hogan retired in '93, just to show up in WCW a year later. Remember when Michael Jordan retired from basketball to play AA Baseball in Alabama, and then come back to play basketball for the Bullets/Wizards. Remember when Bret Favre retired in '08.
This is the promo... I was pissed that he would work for McMahon just a few months later.

The last part were Flair quotes what Vince McMahon said after his Wrestlemania VII match is pretty spot on, especially if you link it to what he has done with his retirement.

Does Flair bite the hands that feed him and change his opinion with the tides? Sure.
But why should that be a surprise? He always claimed to be the dirtiest player in the game.

Flair's been a hypocrite for a long time, so this is nothing new. It's just wrestling, really. 99% of the people involved always go back on what they've said in the past.

I'm only more positive towards Flair because of one reason: THE MAN HAS BEEN DIVORCED 3 TIMES!
Imagine all the alimony he has to pay.
Let's face it. Flair = "Randy The Ram"

This is the wrestling industry we're talking about. Not to say pro wrestlers are bad people, but you're naive if you think its full of saints.
Yeah, he got the greatest sendoff in wrestling history. But the guy's got bills to pay, just like everybody else. What was he supposed to do after WM24? Sit on his hands for the rest of his life? Work part time as a Walmart greeter & coach the neighborhood peewee football team?
I'm not exactly a Flair apologist; I don't have any sympathy for him because of the state of his finances. But the professional wrestling industry is a BUSINESS. Flair needed money, TNA needed star power, both get what they want by working together. That's how business operates. And to get hostile & say 'I lost respect for Flair' or 'Flair's a whore' or 'he should've just stayed home for good after WM24' just shows how big a mark you are (sorry if that comes across as flame baiting but its how I feel).

Nobody would be slandering Flair so much, if he wasn't such an ass-kisser. Why did he need to trash TNA, when he was in WWE? He made his own bed, nobody is a mark for calling him on it.

"That TNA promotion is great, they'll really give Vince a run for his money some day."

Just because he was on WWE 24/7 doesn't mean he needed to toe the company line.

When you're in as much debt as Flair reportedly is, and you've got three alamony checks to write every month, it damn sure does mean you toe the company line no matter how rediculous it may be. Dollars to doughnuts, if Vince told Flair at the time, "I'll give you a hundred grand to go out there in the Spartacus gimmick", he would've done so with a smile on his face. He has a falling out with WWE and TNA, Spike, and Panda Energy come calling and say, "we have a large check for you, come sit at ringside and make faces". He's not thinking about legacy or reputation, he's thinking "hot damn, I can pay my bills now".

Why should I sympathize with someone that wasted so much money in his prime? Flair partied every night. It's his own fault that he got himself into this spot, and he probably should watch his comments if he's that debt ridden. My point is pretty simple, Flair didn't need to make those comments, he just looks foolish joining TNA now, when he called them bush league. And I doubt Vince made him make those comments. Other guests on the roundtable don't go out of their way to trash TNA. Hell, they've said some things I was very surprised to hear and generally mock Vince here and there in a joking manner.

I sure as hell don't either, and I'm sticking up for him. No, he didn't have to. But like I said, he was under WWE contract when he said what he said. In my mind, he's working; he's on the clock. And had he outright praised TNA, it would've been like the CEO (or at least one of the higher-ups) for Coca-Cola saying "Pepsi's pretty good too." It's not bad business per se, but it's not good for business either.

I'm just amused that in the first video, out of the 5 people at that table sitting there as Flair asks "What's TNA?", 3 of them now work for the company.

I've wondered if Flair wanted to retire in the first place. I'm not sure if he was the one who first broached the idea of retiring at 'Mania, tbh.

I watched his Highspots shoot, and it basically came up as Vince came to Flair & said "We've got an angle for you with the blowoff being you retire." And Flair basically said "Oh. Okay." He moreorless said retirement wasn't something he was planning on at the time the angle was pitched, but he also knew that he was going to retire sometime soon.
