They should have merch tables set up outside all day long. I bet they really could make a killing off that, even from the people who can't get inside.

I would bet that most of that crowd is repeat crowd members that wouldn't get excited over merchandise that they usually have on offer every other week.
Most nobody buys stuff at the Impact Zone outside of drinks and gigantic turkey legs.

Lance Storm also provided his predictions for tonight's ratings scuffle war! For my official rating prediction for January 4th: RAW (3.6 – 3.8) Impact (0.6 – 0.8) --taken from StormWrestling.com He only says that because he is legally obligated as a Canadian to support Bret Hart. ;D

Angle vs. Styles for the title, Super Blueprint vs. Stevie and Raven, and Fat Joe vs. Abyss have been confirmed for tonight. I'll predict the results Angle/Styles = Draw or someone screws Angle Tag Match: Clean win for faces Big Guys - DQ, setting up a gimmick match for the PPV

Angle vs. Styles for the title, Super Blueprint vs. Stevie and Raven, and Fat Joe vs. Abyss have been confirmed for tonight. Doesn't seem like that much of a matchup to me

The mere fact that they have an ass-ton of people lined up waiting to get in is a good thing. no matter how you choose to disparage it. It's tangible proof there's excitement over tonight's show.

There's a countdown timer for Hogan on TNA in the bottom right corner on Spike TV now. 1:35 to go.

f***in' a can we leave the negativity out of one thread in this section entire board? Biggest night for American pro wrestling in nearly a decade and, people are still cannot seem to be happy or positive or anything other than "the end is here".

f***in' a can we leave the negativity out of one thread in this section entire board? Biggest night for American pro wrestling in nearly a decade and, people are still cannot seem to be happy or positive or anything other than "the end is here". I'm gonna help TNA out and watch the whole thing. The announcement of multiple Divas matches on RAW sealed it for me. TNA could help alot of wrestlers' careers out and become a strong company if they do this well, and the sheer audacity of signing Hogan has now overpowered my rational dislike of him. I'm willing to mark out for one night and see what happens. But yeah, you're right. This has become an intensely negative board.

yeah to be honest, even this things falls flat on its face I'm excited. Shame I won't be able to see either live, but I'm sure I'll catch up on each tomorrow. Getting through work is going to be torture

Hey, I'm trying to bring the sunshine in, and I've even decided not to post on the Raw thread if I have nothing positive to say about their show. I'm all rainbows and gumdrops tonight.

There is a sticky about the TNA bashing. It's been there awhile. Maybe some of you need to reread it.
