Odds are nobody in creative even thought that "Over the Limit" and "Over the Edge" had similar names, or even thought much about it at all. Most of the "creative" staff didn't even work for the WWF back then.

I doubt creative was aware of the coincidence or cares about it. It certainly won't be mentioned or alluded to.

The graphic to that ppv logo thing seems like a Cheer-o-meter or soemthing. Maybe matches will be won by crowd reactions?

Oh, so it's Taboo Tuesday with an even worse method to determine the matches.

It'll be a long PPV, considering the crowd rarely gets active anymore.

Nah, Detroit crowds have a tendency to be pretty rowdy.
There is a chance that I myself will be there at ringside... If so, look for a sign.
That and while the timing is "eerie", it's been over a decade. With PPVs happening monthly, it was bound to happen sooner or later. WWE can not be expected to not have events on the day that one of their wrestlers died.
As much as I loved watching Owen Hart do his thing, even he would more than likely tell us that the show must go on. If not for he to find rest, but to be fair to the rest of the boys.
Wrestlers go out there and do what they do for the fans, they know that in the blink of an eye, they could get injured, or possibly die if there were an accident... but that never stops them, and hasn't stopped them in the 11 years since that horrible night in Kansas City.

I was more amazed they are holding another "Over the..." PPV in May, let alone 11 years to the day Owen died. It's in the same arena too, isn't it? I know I read one of the upcoming PPV's is at Kemper. That would've added a whole new level of weirdness.

WWE is doing the 7/20 Money in the Bank PPV in Kansas City, but it will be at the newer Sprint Center arena. Kemper Arena is too old and will be closed soon.

What we need is a "Suck-O-Meter" from one of those Nicorette commercials.

Oh, so it's Taboo Tuesday with an even worse method to determine the matches. So let me get this straight. It's just a renamed Cybersunday/ Taboo Tuesday, or what is it?

I don't know where people are getting this Cyber Sunday comparison from. There's no evidence to support it. People just enjoy making stuff up.

Vince and Bret have another falling out. I hope Bret isn't strapped to a harness when he has the falling out! ...sorry for the bad joke.

And I think the DVD comes out on the day Nancy Benoit died... yeah, something f***ed up is gonna happen. I'm not going to address the last part of that....because we honestly don't know that for 100% sure. But them reusing the name seems tasteless. And the "to the day part" that's just f***ed up. they aren't reusing the name, just part of it. The PPV Owen died at was Over the Edge.

So, what's the gimmick for this one supposed to be? Are all the matches going to go over the time limit or what?
But seriously, I'm not even psyched for the PPV. I'm psyched that the following night's Raw is going to be in Toledo! I'm not 100% if I'm going but my friends are getting tickets. This will not only be my first Raw but my first live wrestling show EVER!
I never thought I'd get the chance to boo Triple H live. /wipe tear

I remember reading somewhere that this PPV's gimmick is that all the matches have time limits.
I REALLY wish I was joking about that.

The song Push It To The Limit needs to be used.
