At Wrestlemania these two titans face off in a match that for some odd reason I'm actualy pretty excited about. They have been building this feud well, and Batista's promo surrounded by security was brilliant.
However at Wrestlemania, and many PPV's (although not RAW) Cena often gets booed despite being the top babyface. Do you think that will happen this year? He was fairly booed last year in that pointless and boring match against Edge and Show and he was booed against a heel HHH.
I hope he does not get booed, it feels odd for me having the face, or the person supposed to be the face, booed. Hopefully Batistas involvement with Vince will keep him the hated heel.

What I find weird is that Cena pretty much always gets booed on PPV and only on PPV, and that especially goes for WrestleMania. When combined with how much difficulty they had in getting people to boo Batista in the first place, I think the crowd will be firmly on Dave's side.

Yeah, he rarely gets booed on Raw (heavily, anyway), but on PPV it's a different story.

I hope he gets booed. And Batista wins. People are always hating on Dave, but he is twice the wrestler Cena is and actually looks and dresses like a wrestler. I think the fact that people think he's a dick in real life has something to do with it. The fact that Cena's "back up" for having crappy wrestling ability is that he's a nice guy in real life, but that doesn't bother me. He still bugs the crap out of me on screen and I'd rather watch Batista screw up a promo and give us some hilarity than have Cena bore me to death with his SOS routine.

You know what? It would be the best thing ever if an enormous WC mass trip to Wrestlemania was executed and enough of us were there to pop for Batista like he's snorking Santa Claus.
Cheer relentlessly for him. One or two people have to hop the rail trying to hug him. "I LOVE YOU BIG DAVE!!!!" They will, of course, be beaten mercilessly and promptly be removed from the building, but it will be necessary for the full effect. There must also be a completely ridiculous amount of signs. No dumb basketball crap, dead srs Dave Batista paraphernalia.
"BATISTA IS WRESTLING"
"YOU ARE MY HERO DAVE BATISTA"
etc.
If anyone is left after all this, understand that all you do is cheer for Dave Batista the whole time. You don't boo Cena, you continue to cheer for "The Animal." Cheer as vigorously as your body will allow. Drink you an Amp if you have to. Get it done.
I am not big on either guy in all honesty. I don't think they're lumps, they're just for me and I'm a little tired of them both, quite frankly.
That's not what It's about. It's about giving a wrestler a pop that's so out of control that they don't even get it. Why Batista? I have no idea. It just seems funnier that way.

I reckon it'll be about 50-50. Both of them will get their fair share of cheers and boo's depending how many smarks are in attendance in comparison to marks.

I think it'll be a 50-50 split however I hope Cena gets a heroes welcome with the whole crowd behind him, it'll be weird looking back on the career of the top babyface if he's getting booed at almost every wrestlemania.

I think Cena will be cheered. He's unquestionably in the right, kayfabe wise. Usually, he's being smart ass so you want his smug mug wiped clean.

Neither, this will be my pee break match, I hate them both, But if i had to choose I'd go with tista if only to keep cena beltless for a few more weeks......who am I kidding, Stevie Wonder can see how this WM will end with cena trumphant and on top again, yipee

I think it'll be funny if the crowd goes Goldberg/Lesnar on them. Like, I wanna see a punching match where instead of getting "Boooooo" "Yeahhhhhh" Booooo" "Yeahhhhh" we get "Boooooo" "Booooooo" "Booooooo" "Boooooo" from the crowd.

Exactly, saying Arizona is a Cena town is irrelevent. If it was a normal Raw sure, but Wresltemania means people from all over the world in attendance and alot more smarks then a usual event.

The reason Cena gets booed at ppvs, especially Wrestlemania and not Raw is pretty simple. Wrestlemania tickets are alot more expensive than regular shows. Also wrestling isn't mainstream like it used to be, so casual fans aren't going to Wrestlemania just to see the big matches like they used to. So alot of the fans will be adult males that are obsessed with wrestling like ourselves. Parents aren't going to pay $200 a ticket so their kids can watch grown men pretend to fight, but alot of them would pay $30 for a Raw ticket. So you cut out alot of the kiddies, the crazy women that just think Cena is hot and add a couple thousand smarks to the mix and you get about 30,000 people booing Cena and cheering Batista. Especially since Batista still has his fans and despite being a complete dick doesn't get booed very much. I think the crowd will be half and half.
