Okay, how old was Bob Backlund when he lost the title to Sheik? And how old was he when he made his comeback and subsequently entered the main event scene again? Yes, I know he returned after an original main event run, but I'm just curious about where he could stand in all this. 34 when he lost it 43 when he regained it Terry Funk was older when he won the ECW title at 53 or 54 Actually Backlund was 45 when he regained it.

How old was God when he was supposed to team with Michaels against the McMahons? I have to admit that this made me laugh much harder than it should have. Then the answer provided in the next post provided even more laughter. But on topic, I'd have to agree with everyone else and say DDP. Somebody mentioned Goldberg, he was only like... 30 or 31 when he won the WcW title I think.

How about when Booker won the World title (not counting WCW)? Sure, he was pretty much a midcarder even during and after that, but it's worth pondering.

Booker was in his early 40's when he won the World Title. But technically he was main eventing before that. Even in the WWE.

How old was God when he was supposed to team with Michaels against the McMahons? The following post may be off-topicConsidering God as the greatest thinkable being the answer would be infinite. God was never born or created and must have been before anything else was. So the 11 billion someone stated is wrong and would have been heresy in the middle ages. However, the question is did God no show, which would deductively mean he never showed or was he always there in every main event EVER? Those are the two possibilities I see in this one. No, I am not a theologist and rather agnostic but this is my philosophical and logical standpoint to this. Well, not 100% all mine since I have to write a paper on a very related topic. The preceding post may have been off-topic.

Remember, Christian headlined Vengeance 2005 with John Cena and Chris Jericho, so you can cross him off the list.
Dallas Page first won a World title at age 43, so I think he's the oldest by quite a margin.
