With Ted Dibiase getting inducted, without another major headliner named so far, it could be the first HoF I can remember centered around a heel, so, made me think of some of the greats.

Vince McMahon, but only 1998 and early 1999 era McMahon. Once he was revealed to be the Higher Power he just became too cartoonish, and he's pretty much been that way ever since.

I think Jake Roberts deserves to be on that list, he did a lot more dastardly things than some of the guys there. My answer would be Vince Mcmahon, easily. The guy was willing to sacrifice his own daughter, just to get back at Austin.

I couldn't vote, because you excluded this man:

McMahon, even after accounting for Jake and Piper. Even if I was rooting for him vs. Austin.

I picked HBK.
But I see the lack of Hollywood Hogan as a major fail. He inspired people to throw garbage in the ring.

Vince used to at least have justifications for his actions. Now he's just a dick. Yeah I mean his heel turn kinda made sense. He made a business decision and the fans hated it, and he couldn't grasp that and turned. That made sense. Now he just walks out, makes poor decisions he KNOWS are heel-like and expects people to still give him the heat he got in 98-99. Granted does he still get boos? Of course, but NOTHING like his Austin feud days.

Maybe not the best but IMO the most underatted (probably because he was face for most of his time there) would be anti-American Bret.....especially as he was stil playing face whenever they were in Canada.

I considered adding Bret, but since he was only a heel for, maybe a year in the WWF, I decided against it, since when you think of the Hitman, you think of the hero, fighting champ.

Dibiase has always got my vote as the best heel ever. Played his role to a tee and he really was a guy you loved to hate.

Off the list I voted Ted Dibiase however I would have voted for Jake Roberts if he was on the list.

I'd go with Honky 18 months of holding the belt and never getting pinned really pissed the crowd off

When you have a heel so effective people will pay big money to see him get beat up you have a winner. Vince has it too but he wrestles maybe once or twice a year, Honky did it night after night. That puts him over the top in my eyes

Despite the fact that the character has been beyond stale for nearly a decade, it's Vince.
