Using people on the roster that weren't booked in other main card matches.
People already know my WrestleMania booking style. All champions on the card, with as many people on the card as possible. So let's retroactively take people out of battle royals and lumberjacking duties to book them on the main card. Now, I'm not going to go nuts with booking the feud, these are simply the matches I would have wanted to see at the time.
And don't post Miz/Morrison v The Colons. We all know that should have been on the main card.
---
WM22 - MNM v London and Kendrick - MNM had already won the tag titles 3 times in their rookie year. However the unorthodox high-flyer team of London and Kendrick would have begun the roll of their careers by beating them in a non-title match. The feud would grow from there, until the WrestleMania match. Regardless of the WM result, a rematch would happen at Judgment Day, that London and Kendrick would win and MNM break up afterwards, like it did in real booking.
WM23 - London and Kendrick v The World's Greatest Tag Team - London and Kendrick would have held off all comers for nearly a year, and would have had a legitimate claim to being the greatest tag team in the world. This, naturally would have irked Benjamin and Haas, who, frustrated at being overlooked for opportunities, would repeatedly ambush the champs. Feud and WM match ensues.
WM25 - Jack Swagger v Evan Bourne - What better way to showcase ECW's New Superstar Initiative by having the man who won the belt within 6 months of his debut fight the fastest-rising (at the time) high flyer in the company?
---
Sorry got nothing for Holly/Rhodes (World Tag Champs at WM24) except a Champions v Champions match against Miz/Morrison, but Morrison was already on the main card by virtue of MITB.
What say you?

Wrestlemania 12: Psycho Sid vs Razor Ramon Sure, Razor was on his way out, so he would have jobbed. Sid on the other hand wasn´t used on-screen in wearly 1996, but think this would have been a good WM match.
WrestleMania 18: Mr Perfect vs Kurt Angle and Kane vs Nash erfect vs Angle have been awesome. Kane vs Angle didn´t do anything for me.

Wrestlemania 9 - Bret Hart vs. Hulk Hogan Here's the match Hogan should have "passed the torch" at, not waiting another 9 years to give it to a guy who was practically on the way out anyway, if you smell what the Rock is cookin'.
Wrestlemania 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 26 - An Intercontinental Title Match

I may be alone on this, but I think that at last year's WrestleMania, Lawler should have replaced Snuka on Team Legends. If just to get Lawler a WrestleMania match.
RIP Boomaga: I agree about the IC title thing, but at WrestleMania 19, the Intercontinental Title was still in retirement. Wouldn't be brought back until the summer.

WrestleMania 23 - Randy Orton Vs Edge.
Sure they were both heels at the time..but what the hell? They worked well with each other.
WrestleMania 25 - John Cena Vs Edge.
Sorry Show. This should have been the exclamation mark on the Edge/Cena saga.
WrestleMania 2000 - HHH/The Rock with Austin as the special referee.

Wrestlemania 18 - Kurt Angle vs Stone Cold Steve Austin - They had the feud of 2001, feuding for damn near the entire year. Hell, once Triple H went down with the injury, Austin and Angle were always in a storyline together, and that was in May. And the feud was awesome. So the WWE makes their blowoff match be on a random Raw. Put the blowoff match at Mania. The feud was certainly deserving of it.

There's an outright conflict with this strategy and WWE's advertising unless you put the US or IC champ in MiTB. The WWE advertises Night of Champions as the only night of the year when every WWE title is on the line.

WrestleMania 25 - Hulk Hogan vs Steve Austin. It's the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania, and both of these guys wer elegends in different time periods. It'd be awesome to see them battle it out in a "Classic 80s" vs "Attitude Era" match.

It's a bit different than using people who weren't on the cards but..
Wrestlemania 8 : Ric Flair vs Hulk Hogan. I understand why they didn't do it as Hogan was about to take a year off, but everyone was itching for that match. They could have booked Randy Savage vs Jake Roberts as a career ender and put Sid into a match with Undertaker.

Here's this one
Wrestlemania X 10 Man Tag should've been on the card
Wrestlemania XXII MNM vs Kendrick/London
Wrestlemania XXIII Hardys vs MNM, vs Londrick, vs WGTT, Tables Ladders Chairs, Edge vs Orton, and Melina vs Mickie.

Realistically, we could have got Hogan vs. Austin and Shawn vs. Rock at WrestleMania XIX.
The only downside to that is that if we had got that instead, we would have never got Austin/Rock III and I'm a huge sucker for Austin/Rock matches.

I've been saying this exact plan for years...You are right I'm not sure how they would have done it since Hogan was taking off and the Savage/Snake blowoff would have been EPIC

This doesn't quite fit the theme, but it should have been done - the main event of WrestleMania 5 should have been Hulk Hogan against Ted DiBiase, and DiBiase should have won the title the year before rather than Savage.

Wrestlemania 21- Snitsky and Heidenreich vs. Taker and Kane.
With the concurrent feuds, I thought it was inevitable. WWE writers felt otherwise.

Of course a big one would have been Flair vs Hulk, but personally I would have loved to have seen a Shawn Michaels/The Rock match.
