Streaks are meant to be broken, and it makes the rubber match at next year's Mania a possible double exit for both guys. 17-1, or so I hope. The whole "a young guy should break it" argument is over done. If someone is going to break it, make it someone the crowd would buy. I completely agree, Takers legacy is far more than the streak and for people to remember that perhaps it's best it's broken.

I'm firmly of the belief that it'll be a DQ of some sort, that would result in Taker technically winning the match but leaving HBK with the option to continue wrestling since he didn't technically lose. Or a countout.
So, I'm not entirely sure what to put up there. I guess I'll go with 18-0 for the numbers.

I honestly think this could be both guys farewell match. Shawn loses, and Undertaker has made Shawn Rest In Peace for good, and takes off.

If this happens I will walk out of the stadium, and never ever watch WWE Wrestling again. And I'm just about the most unapologetic WWE homer you'll ever find.

Shawn wins and Don't Stop Believing blares through the arena while Shawn pulls his tights down and shows his ass like he did after he won that Royal Rumble that year.
I do like the idea of Shawn winning to set up the rubber match next year at Wrestlemania next year that would be a send off for both guys.

If I knew how to make one of those Marvel Civil War banners, I would make one that reads "I'm With Team 'Taker"
18-0 all the way.

He's gotta win this one so he can lose next year and be 18-1. And they've gotta work the Patriots into the angle somehow. Too bad Taker didn't have one more Wrestlemania before this. We could've had 18-1 Part II in the same stadium as the original.

Taker should remain undefeated at Wrestlemania. It adds to his legend and mystique and it's a feat that no one else has even come close to and possibly no one ever will. But WWE can be unpredictable and do wacky things as we all know so they just might have Shawn break it for the shock value. But I don't think they should. It'll be awesome if Taker can make it to 20-0.

18-0. The no-DQ rule has just opened the door for HHH-ference to cost Shawn the match.

The Streak should never end, period, especially not to someone as painfully overrated as Shawn Michaels. Fortunately, kind of thinking that they might do something with Triple H accidentally (or purposefully) costing Shawn the match - he's been way too involved in this storyline not to play a part. Overrated, huh? Says the guy with a Shame-Us avatar..

Kinda hard to be overrated when half the board hates Sheamus for no other reason than he's new and has a moveset that doesn't just consist of 40 variations of the arm drag. As for Shawn Michaels, I just plain don't like the man.

Sorry, Shawn. It's 18-0.
I love HBK as a wrestler, but man, Taker is The Legend to me and to me, The Streak is a part of Taker's legend. I just don't think the WWE is going to risk something so big for an encore of the match from last year.
I need my own Taker sig, I really do.

18-0, because Taker needs to send this bum back home to Texas 4EVAR.

The whole "a young guy should break it" argument is over done. If someone is going to break it, make it someone the crowd would buy. This. Always this. Yes, it would be a massive boon to a young gun to end the streak, but you never know if the guy is going to wind up being made of glass (Kennedy) or suddenly decide he doesn't want to be a wrestler anymore (Lesnar and, more recently, Lashley). I'm of the mind that NOBODY deserves the rub that ending the streak would give them. The streak, strangely enough, is Taker's legacy. If it were me, it'd never be broken. But I voted based on what I think WILL happen, and so I voted 17-1. And if somebody IS going to end it, Shawn is probably the person whom I have the least problem with ending it. EDIT: Also, I absolutely love the fact that the IWC now has, as a result of this match, its own Civil War/Twilight (ugh) duel. All over the internet, it seems, the primary question on everyone's mind is... Are you Team Taker? Or are you Team Shawn? This is the one angle on which it appears that there can be absolutely no equivocation whatsoever. You must be one or the other. Team Apathy does not exist in this scenario. And I love that wrestling can still provoke that kind of reaction. Man, I love WM season. And do I ever love this angle.
